Welcome on board, here's the 55th episode of the Stellar Series.

Rig Thrall is one of those artists with strong character and style, plus an eclectic and varied selection combined to solid influences. A racy techno style combining planar and tribal music but also progressive trance, breaks and marked tones from the 80s-90s.

He co-created various projects during his young life in this industry, such as @rakya-records (label & collective) in Paris or OQULT collective in Montreal (facebook.com/oqultmtl) for the most recent.

Also producer, he released two EPs, including one on his own label, and several collaborations on movie or advertising soundtracks. He is currently working on new projects which should see the daylight soon. Case to follow.

Be Me was written and produced in Kaikoura, New Zealand – between ocean air, cold mornings and a lot of honest conversations about who I actually want to be as an artist.

The idea is simple: “be me.”
The track is driving and progressive, but not aggressive. It’s melodic but minimal. It moves forward without shouting. The feminine vocal textures are like a human pulse inside the synths – soft, supportive, comforting.

The structure is about trust:
– a slow build
– release into space
– a break that breathes
– and then a dry drop that comes back clear and unapologetic.

This track wouldn’t exist without a close friend who pushed me to experiment, to learn Ableton in my own way, and to not hide behind other people’s templates. A lot of the DNA of this song is literally voice notes, late night tips, and sometimes “no tips at all” so that I had to find my own answers.

I’m releasing this as part of my journey as Eloquendo – melodic techno / progressive house, cinematic energy, emotional but still club-oriented. This is me claiming my lane.

The marine forms abound in the sea depths, in marshes which are flooded at high tide, in shallow inlets and the muddy bottoms underlying the sandy surface of the seashore. The fresh water forms are plentiful on the mossy stones of mountain streamlets, pools bordering rivulets, dripping rocks.

Welcome to the 38th chapter of the Deep Consequences Podcast.  This podcast is a collaboration with Deep Electronics from The Netherlands and Truth or Consequences from Italy. Bringing you the best music from the underground. This months set is mixed Rui G.

Bio:
Rui G.’s musical path isn’t that much different from any other of all the DJs of our time that are looking for their place in the sun. Year after year after, party after party the interest about electronic was groing and in 2009 he definitely went for a DJ approach. In 2011 Rui accepted the invitation to work with local event promotor Elements and this association is a step forward in his relationship with music, with invitations to play some of the events and most important clubs in the city of Coimbra alongside some DJ he admires such as: David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, A.Paul, The Advent, Deepbass, Nobody Home, Brando Lupi, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone and Dorian Gray. Dedicated, curious, ambitious, he invests several hours a day to broaden his musical horizons and improve his technical skills.

Experimental artist active for over twenty years. Massimo Amato is a multi-instrumentalist who explores fascinating and profound ambient melodies. Deep modal and oriental contaminations emerge among the notes generated by analogue, digital synths and ethnic instruments such as the harmonium and the santoor. In 2005 under the moniker MONO-DRONE the Norwegian TIBProd Netlabel published his album ALL INCLUSIVE ch aracterized by very strong experimental attitude. In 2006 for the Venetian LAVERNA the EP MUDDY NOTES was published.
The infinite love for downtempo rhythm and the visceral affection for black music have given life to a new and more intimate musical form straddling ambient, psychedelia, cosmic music and transcendental jazz that has seen light in the two albums for the Affordable Inner Space.
After the first album recorded for the label in 2015 "La Centrale Elettrica", he returned in 2017 with his "In The Mood". A concentration of psychedelia, ethnic sensations, electronic music, funk rarefactions and jazz and post rock references.
In 2019 the Pregnant Void, a sub-label of OUT-ER from Puglia, decides to publish a collection of songs dating back to the 2007/2010 period. The album entitled LOST SUNSETS receive the sincere appreciation of specialized critics.

With almost 30 years in the Electronic music industry, Vince Watson has released over 1000 songs including 250 EP’s, including 15 albums and 75 remixes, and his hard work has been rewarded with recordings for some of the very best electronic music labels like Cocoon, Planet E, Yoruba, Poker Flat, BBE and Transmat as well as running his own Everysoul label.  His skillsets have allowed him to work with some of the very best electronic artists including Laurent Garnier, Joe Claussell, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Carl Craig, Osunlade, Steve Bug & Josh Wink and as a touring musician has been able to play at some of the worlds best clubs and events including Enter at Space, Ibiza, Berghain Berlin, Womb Tokyo and many events in The Netherlands. 
His radio show ‘Radio Drama’ has featured top guest from the electronic music world each month. Some examples include Ben Sims, Truncate, Manoo, Fred P, Steve Bug, Osunlade and many more.

Late 2020 Vince released an LP for The Outlaw Oceans music project entitled ‘Hope’, which was commissioned by the New York Times investigative journalist Ian Urbina and is now in production for Netflix as a documentary series.

Vince’s live shows are in demand around the world, performing in summer 2022 for Carl Cox’s birthday at DC10 Ibiza and as a former Tresor Berlin resident, his DJ sets are also now highly requested with appearances in clubs such as Berghain and Womb. Vince is currently resident of 909 Festival in Amsterdam. He debuted at Berlin’s HoR late 2022.

His sets can be heard in many headline podcasts series, where he has featured in podcasts from Carl Cox, John Digweed, Dave Clarke, Luciano, DJ Mag, Electronic Beats and Resident Advisor.

His 2021 His 18 track Detroit Techno LP ‘DnA’ was ‘[re]Sequenced’ by some of his favourite artists from the genre, including Carl Craig, John Beltran, Claude Young, Jon Dixon, Shawn Rudiman, Steve Rachmad, Stephen Lopkin and Stephen Brown.

Vince also debuted a new techno live project called Amorphic which launched with releases on Modularz, Symbolism and Token as well as a self-titled label, now 3 Ep’s deep.

As well as his ‘normal’ touring schedule and studio commitments, Vince’s experience and knowledge is also being put to use by Conservatorium van Amsterdam where Vince is working as a Senior Degree Lecturer for AEMA, the CvA’s new Electronic music school, where he teaches DJ classes, Production classes and Remix classes.
