VINI SELECTA  JUNGLE/D&B Studio Mix 09:2015

Raised on Reggae, Motown, Hip Hop …, Viniselecta is also a DJ/Producer, Drummer and Sound engineer. 
After taking part in a number of events as member of a Punk-Rock-Reggae group, he discovered Dub, Jungle/D&B scene, and rapidly became immersed in the world of DJing. 
Viniselecta had found his element and 3 months later, he was mixing in a succession of parties, clubs and festivals.
Either live,Mix or in a studio, Viniselecta doesn’t limit himself to a music style. Influenced by Dub, Jungle and Reggae, he draws on this experience and rewrites it into a Jungle / Drum & Bass context, fitting with the vibe of his new projects. 
Viniselecta used to work with different labels like Drum&Grass rec., Protodrum rec.,Kinky Beats rec. (co-founder), Step Express rec., Nu Urban and he created Dubwise Station rec.(co-founder).
His latest Jungle project called Rewind Culture (album called: "Thrilla in a Jungle") has received real good musical review and stayed 3 week on the top 20 on Juno, Trackitdown…
Currently sought after for collaborations and remixes (with singers like Ragga Twins,Parly B, Blackout Ja, Da Futurman, Jamie Irie, Jahcall, Fu-Steps, and with producer like Aries (UK), Mooncat (Spain), Fokus (Serbia), Krakindub, Pitchin (Dirty Phonics),Veak,Dj Panik, Djam/Junglist Posee, U.Stone, ), he alternates between DJ commitments, live and studio work !

 Born and raised in Vancouver's rave scene, JRoy became engulfed by the sounds of Jungle and Drum and Bass. In his early twenties, he took his love for the music from the dance, to the decks.  Having played a wide array of different events, from house parties to renegade beach parties, he eventually got the opportunity to play at one of B.C.’s premier music festivals; Electric Love. There, he got the opportunity to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the game, fueling his ambition and inspiring him to go further.
 More recently, JRoy has began creating  Vancouver’s newest DnB company, 170+ Productions. The astounding rate of growth and success wouldn’t be possible without the wicked support from his Who Knew family, and of course his business partner and close friend, Aaron Payne.   
  JRoy's addition to the local community has been received as nothing less than an amazing and humble way to give back to the music that has made him the passionate and talented DJ that he is today.
