Lawrence Lewis is a 21 year old tech house and UK garage artist based in Australia. Lawrence started playing and making music at age 4 and began DJing at 13. With multiple residencies in his hometown of Adelaide and frequent performances at venues across the country, Lawrence is becoming a prominent figure in the Australian dance music scene. His music draws inspiration from artists like Fisher, James Hype, Disclosure, Avicii, Golden Features, Martin Garrix, Fred Again, Dom Dolla, and more, blending the lines between tech, deep, garage, and UK house.

Lawrence collaborates closely with dance artist Alex Hosking (signed to Warner Records and Sony Publishing), who has worked with PS1, GoodBoys, Disciples, Craig Gorman, Majestic, Lucas & Steve, Rain Radio, and Billen Tedd. He also works with producer and DJ M4SONIC, known for writing the chart-topping song “What Does the Fox Say” and collaborating with Will Sparks, and with Tori Marshall (affiliated with Warner Brothers and artists like Fergie, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, and Kendrick Lamar). Additionally, Lawrence is mentored by songwriting consultant Kirsty Roberts.

Lawrence has been shortlisted for SBS Australia Decides (Eurovision) in both 2022 and 2019 with original tracks. In 2021, he placed third in the National Songwriting Competition (ACMF) with “Start At The End.” In 2020, he won the UK Songwriting Contest (EDM category) with “Cutting Corners” and was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) from over 18,000 entries. He has also been a three-time Semi-Finalist in the ISC with tracks “Cutting Corners,” “Be You,” and “Gone.”
