A short improvised tune played by me with my old loyal companion Korg SGProX digital stage piano as a master keyboard, using an old lovely retro style Grand Piano sound from Keyscape (Yamaha C7, preset "Vinyl"). (Edited the track a little bit on Sunday, November 12, 2023; e.g. changed the last note:)

This song is dedicated to the one who knows it.

I know this is a short one but I'm not a trained jazzer and it has practically taken all my life to get to this point in playing (I'm still learning every day:). If I had to name a few sources of inspiration here, I would first name Mr. Erroll Garner; I would also name Mr. Robbie Buchanan, who's fantastic, memorable and genius playing, compositions and arrangements I have listened to (knowingly or unbeknownst) practically all my life and keep listening today. A song that especially inspired me to make this track is "Somebody in Your Life" by Diane Warren and Robbie Buchanan and the incredible complex chords and progressions present in that song. Later Mr. Luis Miguel made a spectacular version of that song ("Alguien Como Tú"). Third, I would also mention as a source of inspiration the memorable music of the late honorable composer and pianist, Mr. Juan Carlos Calderón. And of course, the music of Mr. Bill Evans is always inspiring me.

method: layering, understanding which kind of noise suits where
narration: what happens to characters in children‘s stories after the fairy-tale‘s told? to follow up on grimm‘s tale of two children lost in the woods, this soundscape drowns the first and the last poem of my kaleidoscope-cycle in apt kinds of noise. this static arises along the edges, ledges, margins and rims where the uncollected and recollected protrudes into the unknown. ah, the wind sings!

The Blukac Endless Processor was a main module needed  to create the track.  The sampler was shipped last year by a boutique modular manufacturer in Ukraine.  It is Sampler/Looper Stereo Panner which allow us to create these utmost beautiful endless sounds. The design may seem simple but it is actually an ingenious module.  You can imagine the difficulties the manufacturer had at the time.

Just thought of something interesting I've never shared here. When doing my leaving cert/final high school year two months before the exam I said Hmmm... what about music... so I decided to add it as a subject. given I hadn't taken classes that made the theory quite challenging. I got close to full marks in the practical but the written test I had to answer in an unusual way. I didn't know the terms at the time so I just described it instead. It's interesting to think about it now the idea of imagining your own answer for something and then having that confirmed or denied. I would have still been marked down heavily for not knowing the terms but I arguably got it more then most. There's definitely something to be said for trying to teach yourself something first maybe and then merging your imagination with what's actually been discovered...

I'm wondering does it drill it in better that way having your own reference first and then the realm knowledge... Maybe we are more likely to find new ways that way too playing into the individuals imagination before they discover other ways it's understood up to that point.

Maybe that order of learning something plays into the fruits of association memory better and is maybe like how some mentalists and illusionists use it. I would imagine your imagined answer and the storing of the actual answer when you find that out are stored in different parts of the brain maybe giving better reference for the brain and improved neuroplasticity on the matter.
