End of summer-podcast comes straight from the heart of VDS. Enjoy this ambient ride by yangdead, our dear VDS coworker from Saitama area. 

いわゆる海なし県で育ち、現在も海とは無縁な生活を維持しながらも、勝手な郷愁と憧憬を感じ、オープニングに波の音をセレクトしてしまう超絶ベタな「MIX」。「MIX」と言えば、A5サイズの「Fool's Mate」が90年代に突入し'NU ERA MUSIC'をキーワードに生まれ変わった「MIX」(その後「REMIX」ガロ別冊）を読み返していた今日この頃。「AMBIENT」なんて聞き慣れないジャンルを知ったのもこの雑誌。その記憶と体験を辿るかのように、80s～00sまでのジャパニーズ音源（※所縁のあるモノも含む）やひっそり国内リリースされていたVINYLオンリーでセレクトした、NEW AGEの隣にある'NU AGE AMBIENT'「MIX」74分。
 

Yangdead: „I grew up in a so-called "sea-less prefecture" and though I still have no connection with the sea, I feel nostalgia and longing for the ocean. I selected the sound of waves for the opening of this weird mix.  Speaking of "MIX” generally, I also have been re-reading the A5 size magazine "Fool's Mate" that had its rebirth under the name "MIX" in the 90's when introducing the "NU ERA MUSIC“.  (Later this magazine became known as "REMIX" GARO supplement). This the magazine taught me about the ambient genre back then, which I wasn’t familiar with. My mix is a NU AGE AMBIENT MIX related also to NEW AGE music. It is a 74 minute VINYL-only compilation of Japanese music which  had been quietly released in Japan between the 80s to the 2000s.
