TIBIO & DUB TROUBLES - NATURAL VIBES FBR D041
After meeting in 2017, producer Dub Troubles and artist Tibio collaborated on 20 tracks, some of which are available on Fat Bird Recordings Bandcamp and streaming services.
Released in November 2020, this mini-album « Natural Vibes » carries the essence of a flourishing collaboration.
Dub Troubles late 80's digital style productions together with Tibio's fresh early 2000's singjay vibes are a recipe for memorable skanking times.
With music mostly crafted by the multi-skilled Dub Troubles, who also mixed and mastered all tracks and contributed to the design of the cover, the project suits big sound system sessions as well as cozy relaxed listening.
Three productions, « Totally free », « Music with a message » (which includes heavenly guitar adlibs by talented Jo Cocco), and the eponymous « Natural Vibes », are collaborations between Dub Troubles and Tibio.
Through his lyrics and smooth layering of melodies, Tibio demonstrates a genuine willingness to uplift the listeners and honor reggae music...  more
