Brett Hunt lebt mit seiner Familie am schönen Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australien. Zu Hause ist er allerdings eher selten. Er bespielt seit ungefähr 15 Jahren ganz Australien, kennt fast jeden Club, viele Festivals und vor allem die Weiten des Outbacks. Diese gilt es nämlich zu durchqueren, um von einem Gig zum anderen zu kommen. Seitdem 2009 sein Album CORRUGATED ROAD beim deutschen Label TONETOASTER erschienen ist, bereist der sympathische Australier auch regelmäßig die europäischen Autobahnen. 

Als zweitgeborener Drilling wächst er in einer sehr musikbegeisterten Familie auf. „Bei uns lief ständig die Musik der Country-Legenden: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, eben alles was die Plattensammlung meiner Eltern hergab.“ Dazu hört Brett seit frühester Kindheit Neil Young, Bob Dylan bis hin zu Elvis und Neil Diamond. Durch seine Vorbilder inspiriert, beginnt Brett früh sich am Klavier der Familie zu versuchen.  

Mit 14 Jahren sieht er den Film Crossroads im Kino. „Sofort am nächsten Tag bin ich los und habe mir meine erste Mundharmonika gekauft!“ Er spielt in jeder freien Minute Songs nach, mit seinen Brüdern oder alleine. Bald kauft sich Brett seine erste Gitarre und fängt selbst an, Songs zu schreiben. 

Mit 20 entschließt sich Brett sein Hobby zum Beruf zu machen. Er spielt viele Shows zunächst immer mit einer Band. Da so aber nichts von den Gagen übrig bleibt, beginnt er seine Songs so zu bearbeiten, dass sie auch allein gespielt druckvoll wie von einer Band klingen. Exzellentes Fingerpicking und percussive Elemente auf der Gitarre, seine kratzig-raue, tiefe Stimme, dazu Mundharmonika und eine Stomp-Box – fertig ist die Ein-Mann-Kapelle. Bretts Energie geladenen Liveauftritte machen ihn schnell auf der ganzen Insel bekannt. Egal ob in Pubs, auf Festivals oder auf Partys - er zieht jedes Publikum in seinen Bann. Mit ca. 250 Konzerten im Jahr verfügt Brett mittlerweile über eine unglaubliche Bühnenerfahrung und ein großes Repertoire an Songs.

Einige davon veröffentlicht er in Australien bereits 2006 auf seinem Album CORRUGATED ROAD und erntet damit sehr gute Kritiken. Sein Stil deckt Singer/Songwriter-Elemente gepaart mit Blues-, Folk- und Country-Einflüssen ab. Fast alle Songs des Albums schreibt er auf Tour. Sie handeln von besagtem „Life on the road“, reflektieren bestimmte Situationen, Ereignisse, Gefühle oder sind als Dank an eine Person gerichtet. Zu jedem Song hat er eine tolle Geschichte parat, an denen er sein Publikum bei den Konzerten auch gerne teilhaben lässt. 

Im Sommer 2009 reist Brett zum ersten Mal nach Europa und spielt einige Konzerte in Österreich, Deutschland und Irland. Sein Album CORRUGATED ROAD wurde im November 2009 veröffentlicht, seitdem tourt er regelmäßig durch Europa. 

Mit neuen Songs und einer EP, die ausschließlich bei seinen Konzerten verkauft wird, ist er im November und Dezember 2011 zurück in Europa. Am 8. Juni 2012 erscheint sein neues Album „Rachel“ bei Tonetoaster Records.

in Hammamet. Since 2000, he was in a big club as Resident DJ
successful. There he has established itself and began to mix in all
possible music styles like House, Jazz, Black, etc. He has
made a name and worked in all kinds of discos and clubs
As a resident or guest DJ.
Since 2005 he works in Germany and Europe at clubs as a Guest DJ
Style House and Black. Since early 2010, he has focused on minimum and
Techno specialized, then as a producer. His first successful EP
"Cocaine" [Charted Top 15 On Minimal Chart Beatport] with his own label, "Berlin Aufnahmen".
Since he started with a "DJ" and "producer".

Berlin Aufnahmen [Charted Top 3 On Minimal Chart Beatport] now are much successful EPs came out,
with famous DJs [Louie Cut, Manel Diaz...]
The plan is to establish his label and many more successful EPs
bring out of themselves and others.
