I am happy to share this recording of my work for women's chorus (SSAA), one of three settings of texts by female mystics. St. Teresa of Ávila (1515 - 1582) was one of the great figures of the Catholic church: mystic, author and reformer. Her brief but powerful meditation has been revered for centuries. The wonderful recording is by Rocky Mountain Chamber Choir Virtual Singers. The other works in the set are Come Closer (Chameli Ardagh) and In the Flowing Light of the Godhead (Mechthild of Magdeburg). They were composed for intermediate/advanced choirs and are available for purchase (print or download) at www.jwpepper.com.
