EN : Manganas Garden are with Archipelago and Skogsrå in the front of the new Scandinavian funk wave. Rooted in the glory of 70 ‘s disco and driven by Ame- rican 80’s R&B, their unique sound echoes in symbiosis with the classic Ver- sailles pop from Gothenburgs bay area to the beaches of Côte des Basques. The music is reminiscent of George Duke anno 1982, combined with the vibes of Phoenix, Lemaitre and Daft Punk.

 Pentru ca oamenii au invatat sa isi ascunda prea bine trairile, apelam la o ruda mai sincera si mai expresiva.
Maimuta se misca pe muzica lui Christian (voce si chitara), Mihai (bass, voce, synth) si Boddy (tobe). Ei imita tot ce aud, reinterpreteaza si recompun cantece pline de energie si forta pe care ai impresia ca le-ai mai auzit pe undeva.
Sound-ul este o joaca serioasa de acorduri si influente (motown, funk, electronic si hardcore), un atac sonor fara rele intentii, cu scopul de a supune urechea, probabil asta place si unei maimute. Ne gasim acolo unde ne poarta undele..
Violent Monkey este o stare de spirit pe axa Londra-Bucuresti. Este acel difuzor pe care il simti vibrandu-ti in piept, dar de langa care nu te poti dezlipi.Chiar daca stilurile limiteaza, combinatiile raman infinite.
