For those who don’t know, Moksha, my music album inspired by the zodiac, is a project that was born with a lot of excitement at the end of 2019. 💓 An experimental music journey that blends acoustic electronics, downtempo, trip hop, deep, organic house, and even trance. 💆🏼‍♀️

This album of originals has been a huge success, and the joy it gave me led me to dream bigger: to create a remix album designed for the dance floors and present it in a live format. 🥁

💗 Today, I close a chapter in my artistic career, filled with lessons and magic.

Violeta Villa (Carolina Villa) is a multidisciplinary artist, producer, and devoted melomaniac based in Barcelona. Her work blends electronic music, visual art, and astrology into a single sensorial language.

Her passion for electronic music was born in England in 2007, inspired by the progressive and experimental sounds of that era. Over time, she’s shaped a unique identity—deep, atmospheric, and minimalistic—where sound becomes a tool for connection and introspection.

Trained in graphic design and visual arts, she uses both image and sound as creative instruments to explore the emotional and the cosmic. Her creations are guided by an Aquarius Moon’s urge to innovate and a Venus in Cancer’s intuitive sensitivity—bridging the earthly and the ethereal.

Since 2018, she has led Mooonstruck, a collective and podcast series aligned with the zodiac cycle. In 2021, she released her debut album MOKSHA, a conceptual journey through the twelve signs of the zodiac, blending mysticism, rhythm, and inner transformation.

All her music is released through her own label, MOONSICA — Art in Cycles, a space dedicated to exploring the cyclical nature of sound and consciousness.
