Next up on Viper Recording is our very own Jack Mirror. Since 2017 Jack Mirror has been carving his name a little deeper into the scene with each and every release. It’s not a secret that he could be the next up and comer about to blow. Jack Mirror’s ability to blend the dark, rowdy underbelly of drum and bass music with a sing-a-long hand-in-the-air accessibility has earned him some serious support from the likes of UKF, Radio 1 and FabricLive. After the huge success of his set dominating beauty ‘Junipero’ Jack Mirror is back to bless us with another glorious piece of music.

‘With You’ effortlessly secretes a cool, understated lure. The track’s forward chugging back-bone is delicately layered with touches of modulated button-like bleeps, and a subtle, ever-present, rumbling low end. Providing an inescapable hook is flowanastasia's gorgeously smooth vocal which brightly juxtaposes the laidback, moody musical elements, skillfully extenuating each component.

One of the hottest acts to emerge in 2022, Georgie Riot has been making waves in the world of drum & bass with her unique blends behind the decks and breaking through with a series of her own productions to boot. Teaming up with New Zealand duo REPAIR who have been making waves in their own right on the other side of the world, we are thrilled to present their debut on Viper with Alimish “Walk Away”.

Born and bred in the rave, Georgie Riot’s background is immediately present in the track, transporting the listener to the deepest of the underground with an ominous, shadowy opening. Released on August 10th via Viper Recordings comes the second single from The Prototypes hotly anticipated debut LP, ‘City of Gold'.

Fully embracing a summer sound with the A-side ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, the production and DJ duo smoothly combine old school style piano chords, signature energized drums and the pulse-racing vocals of Amy Pearson. Already receiving nationwide radio support, the single package also includes a sultry house remix from the talented Jade Blue and an electro-fuelled "Big Top" dancefloor rework by The Prototypes themselves.

Last of the three samplers but certainly not least, the third sampler brings with it not just two but three new songs from the likes of Madface, Cait C & Christina Harrison, and Feed The Fire & OHKAY to close off the Annual 2024 teasers.

One of Viper’s newest and most promising signings, Madface delivers his classic dancefloor sound by way of “Falling”. Ethereal and straight to the point, engaging vocals add to the infectious energy of the tune before dropping into one of his funkiest drops yet. Singalong synths pair with vibrant pads for a classic dancefloor drop that is sure to get any crowd moving and singing along.

The next look at Annual 2024 comes from Cait C and Christina Harrison who made their Viper debut together this time last year with “Feel”. Now, teaming up again one year later, the pair have outdone themselves with “By Your Side”. Christina Harrison’s velvet vocals exude power and charm, while Cait C builds up into a decimating dancefloor drop. Catchy and heavy in all the right places, “By Your Side” is a modern DnB ballad for the ages.

The final taste of Annual 2024 comes from Feed The Fire and OHKAY with “Forget Me”. Marking the German producer’s Viper debut and UK – based OHKAY’s follow-up to her track “Restart” with Sound In Noise & Aktive, “Forget Me” is a sultry dancefloor banger full of enticing vocals and energetic basslines for the new generation of ravers.

Over the last 4 years since joining the Viper Recordings family, 25-year old Tom Mundell's career has been on an acute upward curve. Hailing from London town, Tom Mundell, aka Metrik officially joined the bass music elite with the release of his "Between Worlds" EP which featured killer joints such as 'T-2000', 'Genesis', 'I See You ft. Kathy Brown' and 'Between Worlds' which launched his status far and wide around the globe, and gaining huge support from the DnB & Dubstep hierarchy.

Metrik's productions have been smashing up some of the worlds best events and his tracks have been taking over the airwaves with names such as Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Annie Nightingale, and Fearne Cotton becoming big fans of the Metrik sound! 

With so many of his own tunes in heavy rotation, Metrik has been in high demand as of late on the remix front with artists such as Eric Prydz, Camo & Krooked, John B, Swedish House Mafia, Ayah Marar, and Rockwell all knocking at his door, as well as his upcoming remix of DJ Fresh's new single 'The Feeling' on Ministry of Sound.

Making his debut last year as one of Viper’s newest and most exciting signings, Jack Mirror first made waves on the label with ‘Assimilate’ as part of 2019’s Annual. Since then, singles ‘Utopia/Reset’ and ‘Pressure/This Lie ft. Voicians’ have turned more than a few heads – all with good reason.

Forging a unique place for himself within the drum & bass scene with his signature dystopian style, there’s no surprise label head Futurebound was determined to sign Jack Mirror after hearing early demos. Now, entering 2020 in a big way, Jack Mirror returns to Viper, this time with the euphoric dancefloor anthem ‘Oculus’ alongside German producer Champion. The Hamburg based producer who has a number of notable releases and infamous bootlegs, has decided to call time on his d&b moniker to focus on family life, and what a track to wrap it up with.

A cinematic intro pulls the listener in with intrigue and suspense, delicately building in energy and fervour while maintaining a certain sense of mystery. As the track unfolds, strong vocals add to the intrigue. Vibrant synths transform the track into an emotive dancefloor number while that sense of mystery still remains prevalent – the track is simultaneously catchy and enigmatic, telling a story and transporting the listener to a dystopian landscape crafted by Jack Mirror & Champion.
