These Toronto-based musicians need absolutely no introduction, but have been all over the shop in recent times; from Rampage and Liquicity on the festival circuit to countless clubnights and gigs across both sides of the Atlantic. 

This month's release is a piece of music we've been waiting to put out for a long time, having unveiled it in our Hospital Podcast in mid 2024 (ouch, we've been holding this one a while..)

Charter balances a club-focused instrumental against Ana's introspective lyrics, giving us a beautifully indulgent piece fit for headphones and the dancefloor. 

Working with Tyr and Ana has been a dream come true to ourselves, between them having released on every high profile label you could name off the top of your head and having released music we adore spanning back years.

VISLA delivers his second EP of the year for Critical Music, picking up where the ‘Ultraviolence’ EP left off with another four-track collection of strictly underground sonics.

‘Engage!’ leads the way as VISLA brings a grizzly roller with a deceptively gentle groove that gnaws and burrows its way into your chest.

Meanwhile, both ‘Uhwork’ (alongside fellow Critical young blood SMG) and ‘Violence’ (in collaboration with Gino) come ready to cast shadows over the darkest corners of any dancefloor with punishing, otherworldly sound design and skin-crawling atmospherics.

‘March!’ closes the show in style, slowing the tempo for a deliciously dark slab of moody 140 that squats the space somewhere between garage and dubstep with a dead-eyed stare.
