Returning to Viper for the first time since 2016 which saw the release of the killer double-sided single “Prometheus / Cryogenics”, the duo are back in a big way, this time with the aptly named “Ruckus”. 

Known for their adrenaline-fueled dancefloor weapons with a sci-fi twist, “Ruckus” is certainly no exception. Opening on a frenzied note, the drama is present from the first note, building in complexity and anticipation before the drop. 

Loud, bold, and brazen drum & bass at its finest, Killer Hertz have certainly proven they’ve only gotten better over the years; “Ruckus” is sure to put them back on the map in a new era of Drum & Bass. Hot on the heels of recent comeback single “Ruckus”, Killer Hertz return to Viper with “Killa Man Jaro”, this time alongside industry legends Harry Shotta & Tonn Piper. Not only that, but the release also sees rising stars V O E deliver their take on this iconic trio’s work with a brand new remix of the track.

“Killa Man Jaro” is a sultry, dark number, taking the listener to the depths of the dancefloor and beyond. Navigator’s distinct voice delivers a warmth and groove to the classic sounds of Killer Hertz, while Harry Shotta’s verses inject an inimitable energy and hype to the track; not to mention the iconic sounds of the legendary Tonn Piper in the mix as well. The three MCs together with Killer Hertz deliver such a classic drum & bass record that is sure to be a hit amongst new and old heads the world over.

As if that wasn’t enough on its own, V O E enter the chat with their take on this future class anthem. Their remix captures the vibe of the original while infusing the high octane neurofunk sounds that have become something of a signature sound for the duo. The drop completely transforms the track while the original vocals ebb and flow around the futuristic basslines and rapidfire synths.

With so many big names on one track, “Killa Man Jaro” exceeds all expectations, and with a remix as well, this one is sure to be yet another hit in the Viper catalogue.

One of the label’s most momentous tracks of all time, InsideInfo & Miss Trouble’s Metamorphosis has been doing the rounds since its release in 2014. Now, ten years later and to celebrate twenty years of Viper, Pythius has given this DnBhead anthem the remix treatment and it’s massive.  
With some of the most iconic lyrics in the genre, Miss Trouble’s voice comes in right from the start, but that is where the familiarity ends. Pythius brings his unique neurofunk sounds into high gear right from the start, birthing an entirely new beast and fitting the Metamorphosis moniker. 
Sultry, loud, dark, and exuding technical finesse, Pythius’ take on this classic certainly lives up to the hype. Remixing such an iconic track is no easy feat, but Pythius has knocked it out of the park, the perfect addition to the 20 Years of Viper celebrations.

One of Viper’s newest and most exciting signings OHKAY returns with one more single before the year is up, “Not My Love”.

Hot on the heels of her last single “Lift Me Up”, the triple threat from Manchester is back in a big way. Her colourful aesthetic carries strongly into her production, paired perfectly with her distinct vocal prowess. Bold and blazing and designed with the dancefloor in mind, the drop takes things to a whole ‘nother level, reppin’ the classic Viper sounds.

Equal parts catchy and bass-heavy, “Not My Love” is a certain future classic with lyrics and melodies that are both total earworms. OHKAY has proven to be an immense addition to the Viper family and has once more proven to be a force to be reckoned with and a name you won’t soon forget. Make sure not to sleep on OHKAY!

Continuing on with what has quickly become a fan favourite series, Future Fire is back with its fifth edition, this time featuring Rob Gasser, REESE x TINY Vocals, Sola x Genesis Elijah x Eidna, Lateral, and Casper Levy.

New to Viper but with an impressive career to date, Rob Gasser delivers his signature hyper-pop fusion sounds to a classic drum & bass beat for one seriously unforgettable tune. With years of experience across all genres of bass music, Rob Gasser has already proven to be a force to be reckoned with, and it is an honour to welcome him to the Viper family with the frenzied and impressive “SMILE4ME”.

Up next is “Like That” from fellow newcomers REESE and TINY Vocals. Captivating hip hop vocals set the scene immediately, backed by a bouncing beat that is sure to set dancefloors ablaze. Sultry and catchy, this is a mighty introduction from these two.

Sola, Genesis Elijah, and Eidna team up for the third track on the EP with “Blow Your Mind”, the latter having made her Viper debut previously with Synth System & AL/SO’s “City Lights”. This gorgeous piano led tune is nothing short of stunning; exuding elegance and luxury with every note for an absolutely classic sound – this one is for the heads.

Returning to the label is Lateral after “Run the Town” made waves on Volume 3. “Make Me Weak” is a romantic number, full of charm and grace with a euphoric dancefloor drop – classic Viper sounds.

Last but not least is another familiar face – Casper Levy returns following “Leave This Town” on Annual 2024 with “Danger”. An ambient tune packing a huge punch and bringing plenty of nostalgic vibes, Casper Levy masterfully rounds up another massive edition of Future Fire. Stay tuned for more from this series in 2025!
