great song, I love the beginning and the melody

This track has quickly taken a special place in my heart. I heard it before I saw the demo, and to me it seems so much bigger than the demo now. There's something about the production, tempo, melody, and the long experience of the composers that makes this seem like it summarizes the age of the demoscene subculture. The ending of a chapter, like the music that comes at the end credits of a movie. The greetings in the break feel more like recognition for long service than a shoutout to new innovators. Alcatraz, Conspiracy, Fairlight, Loonies... These are reputable names that have been with us through roughly 20 or even 30 years of demoscene history. The demoscene is still pushing the boundaries, but the number of new young creators is dwindling. The great productions are made by an aging community that passing its forties and is soon in its fifties. When I listen to this I hear that completion of an era. Kind of sad, but also fulfilling and with some hope for a new generation to come.
