A long time ago in forgotten meadows on the far side of the world , a cosmic meteor struck the earth and from it emerged a creature like mankind had never seen before . Friendly and oddly huggable the local magic folk gave this happy entity the moniker G.I.BLUNT and raised him as one of their own . Once grown to a man in only four and half years , he set out into the cold hash world to forge his path and it was then , in the mid 90s , that he birthed his love for house music , and has never looked back since .

With a foundation in performance and formal classical music, IN2IT stepped into the electronic music scene in the early 2000s as both a DJ and music producer. His passion for rhythm, dance, and sound led him to purchase a sound system at age 23 and begin hosting renegade forest parties—sparking a lifelong devotion to music and associated gatherings.

Now living on the unceded ancestral lands of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, Secwepemc peoples, IN2IT continues to channel that same fire. As co-owner of North Lake Sound, he carries forward the spirit of those early gatherings. He has continued to progress and sharpen his music production and DJ skills over the years. He plays at a variety of British Columbia rave and dance events, and has been featured in Shambhala Music Festival's Village Stage Jungle Rinse Out in 2024 and 2025.

His sets move through a wide spectrum of dance music, with a sharp and soulful focus on DnB and Jungle. For him mixing is storytelling, promotion, and self-care - a way to share the artists and tracks he loves most, and a ritual that feels as much like therapy as it does celebration.

FunkinRight is all about fun and funky party music, and having a good time. 

This Canadian funk slangin producer has released over 23 tracks since 2019, with support from labels like Breakbeat Paradise, Render Recordings, Twists of Time, Wildfire Recordings, and B Nasty Beats. His genre jumping DJ style paved the way for multi-genre production, where he continues to push the limits and make beats outside the box.

FunkinRight’s musical CV is as long as it is funky, and he’s shared the stage many of his own inspirations including Askillz, Featurecast, Father Funk, JFB, Megan Hamilton, Phibes, Pineo & Loeb, The Sponges, WBBL, X-Ray Ted, and more. FunkinRight has also been blessed with funky sets at many amazing events including Burn in the Forest, Curiosity, FozzyFest, Freezerburn, Restart, Wicked Woods, Vibrant, and many more. 

It’s about living right, loving right, and treating people right. It’s about doing what you love, with the people you love to do it with, and always (always) staying funky.
