Deep Dive

Clearing out the last of the songs left in our winter closet. This started off as an acoustic cover of The Chromatic’s cover of ‘Petals’ by Hole but evolved into this bittersweet melody that reminds me of Elliott Smith, Jim O’ Rourke, Low and the somber side of Beck.

Undoubtedly I’ll keep fiddling with the mix as always and will then ship it off for mastering at some point.

Now we are very much looking to forward to embracing the spirit of summer by leaning into our rockier influences…more to come!
