Auraelis was formed under the name "Ascension" in Bristol in late 2013. Their sound includes fast and technical melodic thrash riffs with shredding solos on both the guitar and bass guitar, along with growling death metal vocals and fast thrash rhythms on the drums.

After forming in the late months of 2013 under the name "Ascension," the band gigged extensively in Bristol playing with bands such as The Sun Explodes, Absolva, Valis Ablaze, and Endeavour. They began recording their debut EP "Colours of Impurity" and decided to change the name of the band to "Auraelis" shortly before it's release, as there will multiple metal bands already called "Ascension." The EP was released on 19th September 2014!

Altitudes is a Technical Metal band from Bristol, formed in 2016. Their sound combines modern progressive metal with the harmonies and technique of 80's shred guitar. For fans of Animals as Leaders, Protest the Hero, The Faceless, Jason Becker, Guthrie Govan, Racer X and Cacophony.
