"There is an energy in each of us, ready to connect us all—all you need... is a spark!" This show starts off using electrical sparks as the catalyst for motivating musical and visual ideas around the floor, between the performers, with energy steadily building over the course of the entire opening production. "That moment when you feel a connection with another." The second section is about spark we feel when we meet that special someone. The closing section of the show is about how a simple idea can spark a movement that spreads across the world. This production, which is full of energy, is sure to excite your members and audience alike!

Spark (World Class)

Cyclone is an ambitious piece by Jim Casella, was written to feature a quartet of marimba players who play on two marimbas that face each other. The parts are all playable with two mallets, and players are frequently called on to reach across to the marimba opposite them. Also, marimbists embark on a literal "cyclone" around the instruments, swapping physical positions with one another and running around the instruments towards the inevitable swirling climax.

Inspired by true accounts of a friend's recent expedition of Mt. Everest, this quartet is accompanied by seven multipercussionists and piano. It depicts both determination and danger, with an implied circular motion by way of quick, repetitive, six-note figures. Complete with echo effects of grandeur and spaciousness, Cyclone is an energetic, cinematic work that becomes relentless and violent. The faint of heart need not apply!

In this theatrical production, we get inside the tormented mind of Edgar Allan Poe. As he is creating hi most famous work,"The Raven," his creation comes to life and takes control of him. We then meet the love of his life, Annabel Lee, who meets and unfortunate demise, causing Poe to spiral into madness. Poe's death is one shrouded in mystery, as he disappeared into the night, and was never seen again. Drama, lightness, and intensity: this show has it all!

In an effort to find a new home for humankind after Earth has become uninhabitable, scientists created CB187, a micro-organism capable of establishing a new habitat on a new planet. The show takes the audience on the emotional journey after they have arrived on a new planet.
