An exotic production about an Egyptian Pharaoh's quest to achieve immortality. If you'd rather not be tied into the original story ine presented by Tyler Junior College, the music could easily be adapted to fit another Egyptian or Middle-Eastern theme show. 

Commissioned by Tyler Junior College and was a 2013 WGI PIO Finalist.

Immortal (World Class)

"I can't change, even if I tried, even if I wanted to." This show highlights the unfortunate fact that bullying continues to be a problem, and only continues to get worse as it has become even more difficult for victims to escape the menacing of bullies. Using the song "Same Love" by Macklemore as the musical material, this show presents a sobering, but in the end uplifting vignette of this ongoing societal issue.

Copyright permissions for "Same Love" by Macklemore will have to be secured before show can be licensed.

I Can't Change (Open Class)

Imagine Jumanji, with evil spirits. In this game, the roll of the dice determines what the spirits do. "if you decide to roll the dice, you must play this game... until the end." Make sure you check out Pioneer's WGI video for prop and set ideas!

Spiritus Ipsum (Open Class)

"I suppose, in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go. But what always hurts the most, is not taking a moment... to say goodbye." This show takes the audience on a deeply emotional tale about a son and his estranged father. With a deeply-sampled, haunting soundtrack, this show would make a great vehicle for any show concept about an somber journey with an uplifting ending. 

As this show uses over 200 audio samples, experience with sampling or the willingness to learn and acquire the appropriate equipment are a must.

Copyright permissions for "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol must be acquired before the show will be licensed.

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, when asked, “What is the most astounding fact you can share with us about the universe?” gave a most astounding answer. Recognizing that we are made of the same elements that swirled around from the beginning of the universe, Tyson feels a deep connection to all that is out there. Using the text from Tyson’s interview with TIME Magazine, and well-known music from the Planets, this show explores what Tyson and others consider to be The Most Astounding Fact.
