Bash man is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer. Widely regarded as a master of the turntables, he has a record collection spanning various genres, mainly focusing on the harder essence of House and Techno. 

Bash is a Resident of both RUSH in Glasgow at the Berkely suite alongside Mi$$ Co$mix and the weekly Resist parties at the Mash House in Edinburgh. A truly committed selector who shows no signs of slowing down. 

Bash man has a 12" forthcoming on Leftfield House and Techno Imprint Non Stop Rhythm. The release will see a compilation of tracks from his previous 2 EPs on the same label, finally getting the chance to be pressed onto wax.

The Black Lodge L.A. began in 2015 in a dank/dark dive bar as an initmate monthly gathering and ritual organized around exploring, sharing, and experimenting with diverse forms of electronic music and other esoteric arts. It has since become a record label and a global family of artists who exist on the margins yet are at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene.

KOSMIK
Founder, resident, and head spirit of The Black Lodge, raised and bred in the fires Midwest rave scene of the 90’s in Ohio, somewhere in between Chicago and Detroit. He was also a resident DJ and co-founder of the infamous Foundation Team/Trü Skül event series in NYC starting in 1999.

EXPERIMENT ZERO
Experiment Zero is the product of Dona, aka Dj Plant Texture (Creme Organization/Illian Tapes/Unknown To The Unknown) and Mike Tansella Jr. (1/2 of Sons of Traders and The White Lines). The crazed duo comes from the ancient mercantile city of Bari, in Southern Italy.

Logeshen Moorgan, aka Fourmï Rouz, is a groundbreaking DJ/broadcaster/curator from the multiethnic subtropical island of Mauritius. 

With recent publications on Trax Magazine, The Ransom Note and Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel, Logeshen recently toured Europe and his home East Africa with portentous performances at the 39th edition of Trans Musicales festival(France), Fusion Festival (Germany), Les Electropicales (Réunion) and Nyege Nyege Festival (Uganda).

Besides sharing the creative duties of Croatia's most revered 'Goulash Disko Festival', Logeshen is one half of production duo 'Moisk' with Vilnius-based rising star Pletnev.

Just how far is Fourmï Rouz into his quasi-messianic global musical exodus? He has recently warmed-up the masses for Nightmares On Wax, Coldcut, Carl Craig, Lefto, Mop Mop and Simple Symmetry, to name a few. He also actively collaborates with other ‘propagartists’ such as Nickodemus, Auntie Flo, Victor Kiswell and Multi Culti for the curation of trend-setting festivals across a wide range of musical genres and geographical locations.

With Logeshen, comes the promise of warmth, surprise, discovery, camaraderie and future cross-cultural adventures - All over and above the love for soul-shaking, nerve-firing and hypnotising music. Have a listen :)

Been out the loop on the mix series for a few weeks due to work commitments and moving house but glad to get back round to it and have one of Glasgow's finest underground DJ's BASH MAN taking over the Vis-a-Vis reigns for the 4th episode of our mix series. If pre-lockdown you were a regular partaker in late night/early morning underground activties in Glasgow then you'll have seen this man spinning virtually every other weekend somewhere. One of the finest DJ's this city has to offer and it is a pleasure to have him on board with this incredible fusion of new beat, wave and mutant techno.

After 2 strong events at the Lunacy Module in 2019, we were really excited to get the ball rolling at Vis-a-Vis, and despite not having yet played for us, Pasiphae has been kind enough to record an excellent 67 minute mix for the Vis-a-Vis podcast.
