To celebrate Macadam's 5th anniversary, Garde-Robe Records has compiled 11 tracks that reflect the image of the Nantes-based Club-Culture. The 11 artists featured on this compilation have played at Macadam, during parties or during work-in-residence periods.

NEW HIT: Rambal Cochet & Liso - Matrix Convoy [Griffé]

Hailing from Seoul but now firmly based in Amsterdam, Naone delivers a superb EP on Warning, mixing her emotional background with her more contemporary roots, the perfect bridge between both worlds, Asia and Europe, or perhaps between her inner self and the outside world. Starting with Perfectly Harmless, the mysterious track develops into deep feelings that really unfold and expand in Hondon-Ui Kaosu (Chaos of Chaos), where the electro breakbeat responds to a melody with hints of pop consciousness.

On the flip side, the Korean artist unleashes her passion with the deep psy-trance infused enigmatic techno groover Haengjin (Marching), followed by a sensitive downtempo acid closer aptly titled What's Happening. Ultimately, this is about the process of making music, channeling emotions and perceptive energies to create a balanced representation of past emotions and memories.

The title track opens the release with stuttered vocals, rolling drums and bewitching sirens. A retro vocal beckons, welcoming the listener to a deep and intense breakdown before descending into a dancefloor frenzy. ‘Miss Bliss’ follows suit, its bassline chugging along interweaving synths, forming dreamlike melodies perfect for building the dancefloor and the after-hours.

Few combine glittery euphoric motifs with dark undertones as well as Yorkshire artist Kitsta. Following up their initial Warning debut with a split single in 2020, we are pleased to welcome back the fierce combination of Sansibar and Reptant on Warning. For our annual 7” release we invited them to remix each others track in celebration of the friendship that binds us.

On the remix of Lizard Of Oz, Sansibar adds a catchy vocal sample and shifts the psychedelic electro vibe into more clubby territory. On the other hand, Reptant treats the subtle original by My Boom with his typical deep and penetrating production style. While the original track is a bass-heavy tune driven by a pervasive Eastern synth, Mars Leder's interpretation lifts the vibe with a melodic twist paired with the punchy kick game characteristic for his productions.
