Totally informed by the post-punk sounds of The Chameleons/Echo & The Bunnymen/Joy Division/New Order, VISION DIVISION are equally inspired by modern age legends Interpol/The Strokes/Franz Ferdinand/The Horrors. Sometimes with an extra dash of Kraftwerk, Talking Heads, Roxy Music, Abba & Vangelis.

VISION DIVISION is the post-punk, indie-rock/synth-pop solo project of Forrest, currently based in the NSW/Canberra region. Forrest spends time writing & recording in a home studio, producing tracks of self-indulgent pop tunes that hopefully someone else out there may enjoy...

Noise Ensemble is the music of Forrest, written and recorded with the lights down in his home studio near Canberra, Australia.

A new musical direction emerged when Forrest decided to form a band with his own alter-egos - and the Ensemble was born.

Inspired by but not limited to: The Strokes, Interpol, Sea Power, Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Chameleons, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, The The, Talking Heads....and the list could go on.
