KOHEN (Rajasthan,INDIA)
KOHEN is an Indian techno DJ from Jaipur. He began his musical journey in 2018. He realized  music is best medium to express himeself. Tough kicks, smooth bass lines, and deep melodies characterise his type of  music. Borrower, innovator, and art-chemist who performs from his heart.
His electronic work, which is influenced by minimal and techno artists, is known for its soothing melodies accompanied by efficient minimal beats. He wears a techno bowler hat and is also known as a warm outsider. A naive melody will guide your ears up some quirky audio-ornamental route. As a listener, your expectations will be purposefully overthrown.
"Ultimately, the music should connect you to your greater self.  I like bringing tragedy and humour together and invite them up for dance"~he says.  The idea is to communicate and convey a sentiment while still being present in the moment - the essence of oscillation between smiles and tears.  His sets are enthralling, giving the listener a cinematic flair as they immerse themselves in his soundscape.
His sets are explicit and never fail to elicit a sense of shared intensity, they also  induce broad  smiles and the acknowledgement also so gratification that can only be accompanied as a truly unique experience.

Brain Waves debuts on Quatorze with Velvet Loop, a deep and trippy EP featuring two original cuts Velvet Loop and Soft Pulse. Rich in emotion and experimental flair, both tracks reflect his signature hypnotic style. Remixes come from Sam, who delivers a driving rework, and Ooski, who takes things into minimal dub territory.
