Mox aka Caspian - Fr


Techno activist since 1999, Caspian started his career in 2000
as Resident dj under Mox moniker for the Equinox, french
national scene located in the centre of France. Initially specialised
in trip hop ambient & easy listening , with musical skills and tastes.

After 1 year, he traveled to Barcelona during the sonar festival
and get inspired by this local Rave power.
Energised, he came back to Poitiers, with plenty of ideas in his dj bag ! Where a new job was also waiting for him !

He join a real underground vinyl shop with a great experience in drum n bass
and french hardcore techno scene, called Toon'z shop.

Mox contributed to the crew with his great knowledge of techno and mnml sound.
During 7 years they played in a lot of rave parties, festivals and free parties. The team travelled,
bought and sold an incredible amount of vinyls on toonzshop.com and most of all, produced a lot of new and various talents from
the international electronic music scene!
They ruled the underground french market for almost ten years and became one of the greatest & famous shop in Europe.
They were wellknown for their open mindedness and musical skillz.

Party time ! he met Eggbox from Aldente records,
the oldest techno and dub french netlabel. They felt the friendship and made the deal.
First releases sold under the creative commons license and this EP turned on the most
important “dub techno” and “minimal” podcasts. He received a substantial support from
platforms and specialized blogs like "the Bug", Mixotic, Groove, Cult Crusher, Tsugi & Dogmazik.
This has been followed by another bomb release: the “Tundra EP” which has been charted and
supported by many underground and international dj/producers like: Octave one,UR, Mike Wall, Heron, Marcel Dettmann, the Wizard, Eggbox, Daegon, Yostek, Dirt crew, Decado, Daniel Abel, Cane, Zra, Kjofol, Jon Gurd, Lars Sieling, Letkolben, Semtek, Tom Glide.

In 2010 Mox started a new project close to his Dj sessions under 'Caspian'
moniker from minimal too loud techno style, and signed First with the Redukt records Familly.
He met Over 8 artist and played several time in portugal and france
with him and his label blackline...
then signed on O.ton, Googoo Records ,Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Toppaz Digital,Blackline records,
Freitag Limited, Wall music, LCR, Crunch control, Concepto hipnotico...
and take an international dimension.

Adrian Richter - De

Adrian Richter is a young fresh artists from Frankfurt (GER). With original and solid techno sound he win many fan-hearts, and even more party people a techno night given they will never forget once again. He has already played in famous clubs and with headliners together, but is really important, it does not matter whether it in the club or at an underground party with unknown artists decorate the lineup, he rocks every floor with full dedication. For techno lovers he presented in his podcastshow and recordlabel "Elite of Techno" famous techno artists from around the world. He is represented yourself on many other podcast's and shines again with powerful and entertaining mixes.

Our Kiwi brother DILBY was on fire in 2018. He delivered 2 EP's on MOTHER RECORDINGS and managed to secure back to back Top 10 hits with each release. Well, if this new EP is any indication, 2019 is going to be even bigger!

Up first is „Rio Grande“. A club destroying dance floor heater that features DILBY ́s signature drum filled tribalism on top of a punchy, grooving sub bass. Of course it wouldn't be a DILBY jam without a catchy sing-along vocal which brings even more ethnic flavour to this hedonistic afro workout!

On the flip we are treated to an energetic house bomb titled „Keep On Dancing“. This is a powerful club record which gives off a distinct late 90's vibe with it's filtered disco groove and tough analog drum programming. A deep, warm bass line rolls heavily across the low frequency as loopy vocal hooks and crunchy vocal shots keep the dance floor locked in as the energy erupts in the break.

Juan MacLean and Man Power debut as Juan Power for Life and Death

Life and Death continue to serve up brilliantly unpredictable releases with a new one that brings together American DFA stalwart Juan MacLean with the UK’s Me Me Me label head Man Power, plus an edit from the boss, DJ Tennis. 

Juan MacLean is a multi-faceted artist who has a history of everything from playing in post hardcore bands to producing some of DFA’s most celebrated releases. He does classy house bangers with synth pop and disco layers like no one else. Man Power, meanwhile, is someone who is fantastically eclectic in what he does on all fronts as a DJ, label boss and producer. He’s made corrugated acid, hands in the air house and machine disco and plenty in between on his own label, but also cult outlets like Correspondent and ESP Institute. The coming together of these two undoubted studio wizards, then, is a fascinating prospect. 

And so it proves right from the off: opener ‘Crescendo’ is a nine minute masterpiece with rickety house drums making you move while the shuffling percussion builds the pressure. Gorgeously warm chords eventually join the fray and have a blissful effect that sets you off dreaming and keeps you in a trance until the end. 

DJ Tennis himself then steps up with an edit of ‘Excuse Me Daddy’ that is deep and cavernous. Next to the suspensory pads is an intricate synth line that takes you in on yourself in perfectly melancholic ways. 

Closer ‘Praise The Toad’ then picks up the pace with more live sounding drums and a sparkling lead synth that rises and falls to cosmic effect. Drawn out over the full length of the track, and in amongst some chattery claps and smart effects, it makes for a journey to the stars that will cast a real spell on all who hear it. 

This is an innovative collaboration between two masters of their craft.
