Busy week for Visionary Labs. We dropped our 86th episode of our Mix series on Friday with our good friend @sh1elds || He takes us down a dark road with an hour long mix of deep dub downtempo soundscapes. Chris Sh1elds is just one talented artist in a growing demographic of people starting produce their own tunes and also create their own cover art and visuals. My man is so talented on multiple fronts, I felt obligated to have him apart of the project.

Solar eclipses are symbolic of a portal for exponential growth, a split instance where one can perceive the Sun as being dark. 

As the Moon dissolves the light of the Sun, what is perceived around you as well as within will merge into the unknown. As each shadow slips into unison, pay attention to both the seen and the unseen, the known and the unknown, the within and without. 

Once one surrenders to the darkness, light will make way, creating new horizons. When you harmonize with the natural rhythms and cycles of life you will balance your light within. Thus, becoming a vessel of light and love, to share the most pure and authentic part of yourself.

Building on a lifetime of experience with violin and heavy metal guitar, Contra Scandal has spent more than a decade refining his electronic production and developing his own interpretation of dub music colored by the sounds of the world, making Panther a brilliant showcase of the myriad influences at play in the outlands of deep and leftfield dubstep.
