Exactly one year after his 2021 release entitled 'The Electro Manifesto', DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2021 and early 2022. This 25-track album is another thematic nod to class struggle with the hope to stir class consciousness in listeners. Every song title makes reference to some tenant of the destructive and unequal economic system called capitalism as well as its ever-looming shadow socialism. Even the album cover borrows inspiration from Soviet-era propaganda, re-adapting the artistic styles of many communist agitators.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-101, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor to the Electro community for the last 11 years. Söfia Kuz, born in Siberia, Russia, has a rich and diverse musical journey that reflects both her cultural background and evolving artistic identity. Since moving to Milan in 2018, where she currently resides, Sofia's passion for music has truly flourished. Despite growing up immersed in music—singing in choirs and classical studies—it was in Milan's vibrant scene that she found her calling in electronic music. 
Her sets are a testament to her wide-ranging musical influences and her ability to blend genres seamlessly. Grounded in techno, her music often incorporates groovy rhythms, dark and melancholic tones, and occasionally, more vibrant, industrial, and trance elements. 
Sofia's journey from classical music roots to the electronic beats of Milan's underground scene illustrates her versatility and dedication as an artist, establishing her as a rising figure in the electronic music community.

Giorgia, known as Gledis, is a young promise and up-and-coming DJ with an innate passion for music. Since she was a teenager, she has nurtured her love for music by learning to play the piano. 
Always eager to learn new things, she started studying music production, and that's when Gledis began her journey in the world of electronic music as a DJ. Started to grown her DJ figure with Bunkr collective and now is part of Die Sekte collective with a residency at their Klubnacht. 
Her performances range between purists Techno and goes to Trance when in the right situation. She is ambitious and dedicated, constantly striving to improve her skills and this is why she breaks the dancefloors with her unique sound.

Radioactive Miami Bass experiments — slime-coated dubby techno — nervous electro — and beautifully melodic, selectively not-ambient electronica: The second record on nascent San Francisco label Left Hand Path, "STYGIAN MORASS" by Bay Area artist C.L.A.W.S., offers up four cuts that chart a pathway through techno's outer reaches, a perfect platter for the intrepid at-home listener and essential fodder for the adventurous DJ.

C.L.A.W.S., aka Brian Hock, is a music-maker without boundary: he came up in the early-aughts San Francisco scene, playing drums in gothy outfit THE VANISHING, eventually releasing his first solo record as C.L.A.W.S. on Tigerbass Records, the dancefloor-inclined sublabel of Kid606's Tigerbeat6. After a stint in Berlin, he returned to San Francisco where he and two similarly-minded miscreants launched BRONZE, a synth-bass-drums trio that could perhaps be reductively described as "post-punk," whose records have seen release on RVNG INT'L, NOT NOT FUN, and CASTLE FACE, among others. In 2017, he and fellow freaky disc-jock SOLAR are launching SQUIRRELS ON FILM, a record label dedicated to showcasing more brilliantly weird Bay Area artists.

As C.L.A.W.S., Hock's solo productions have become progressively more eccentric with time, culminating so far in the lurid psychedelic tones found on STYGIAN MORASS. None of its four tracks sound particularly alike, but each is clearly the work of an artist with a singular vision. 

STYGIAN MORASS will be released as a ltd.300 edition black vinyl record (with full color artwork sleeve and handmade paper insert designed by the artist) and a digital download via Left Hand Path's Bandcamp on March 10. Forthcoming Left Hand Path releases include a posthumous record from Bay Area artist NACKT, aka Johnny Igaz, the debut 12" from San Francisco producer MICHAEL CLAUS, and more.

The fifth release in the sonic saga of San Francisco's electric noise factory Squirrels On Film is the first solo EP from label co-founder C.l.a.w.s., and his first solo release since 2017's “Stygian Morass” on Left Hand Path. His distinctive, idiosyncratic take on Techno has found its way onto the Various Squirrels, and as half of Kit 'n C.l.a.w.s with Joshua Kit Clayton, but  “Splat City” is his party, and you're invited. 
        The dance begins with “Into The Eyes Of The Zombie Queen,” its Liquid Sky cold-wave disco throb complete with laser zaps, Simmon's tom fills and drunk punk Moroder bass. This is C.l.a.w.s. in full-on Fun Mode, so feel free to break out the party favors. “Pacific Fog Authority” escalates the mirror-ball Goth Drama to delightfully inappropriate crescendos. “Slug Bait” gets a bit tougher, the motorik, leather-bar shuffle exploding in ecstatic strobe light seizures . “Splat City” keeps things heavy and depraved, a sleazy nightmare smoke-machine Strip Anthem.

Visions: A Benefit Compilation for Artsakh is a compilation album with music from a wide range of electronic and dance music artists from the West Coast, East Coast, and beyond.

The album is produced by a community of artists with the intention to raise funds for the recent displacement and violence towards 100,000+ Armenians from the Republic of Artsakh (also known as Nagorno-Karabakh) - a de facto self-governed autonomous region with an Armenian population indigenous to Artsakh. The displaced families and those who have no other option but to return to their war-torn towns are in need of housing, medical, psychiatric support, food, and basic essentials.

*This is an indigenous struggle, and as ethnic-supremacist ideologies are on the rise across the world, we wanted to have a project that stands in solidarity with indigenous people’s right to self-determination and existence, and help from here in a small way.

On September 27, 2020, a large-scale military offensive was unprovokedly launched against the Republic of Artsakh and Armenia by the authoritarian regime of Azerbaijan, backed by Turkey. Armenian civilians, settlements, and civilian infrastructures including schools and churches were continuously bombarded for 45 days with drones, aerial attacks, internationally outlawed cluster bombs and white phosphorus munitions. Several thousands of lives were lost, hundreds still in captivity, and over a hundred thousand Armenians displaced after 70% of Artsakh’s territories were taken away. Currently, ancient Armenian historical, religious, and cultural sites in Artsakh are being destroyed, contributing to the years of cultural genocide by Azerbaijan’s petro-oligarchic regime. This is an indigenous struggle, and as ethnic-supremacist ideologies are on the rise across the world, we stand in solidarity with indigenous people’s right to self-determination and existence.
