6. Came To A Stop

Visitor Kane was formed as a duo in 2016 by Patrick Kociszewski (vocals and
saxophone) and partner Julie Lind (bass) - a side project for Patrick while playing with danish punk outfit Less Win. Accompanied by synths, bass and drum machines the duo went on to play shows with CC Dust and Alex Cameron and in 2017 the band laid claim to their spot on the danish music scene with the release of their debut album ‘Easy Concern’ on the Copenhagen based label Part Time Records.

The Group changed up their show drastically at their concert during Spot Festival 2018 at Tape in Aarhus.They arrived as a five-piece, counting members of danish punk band Yung, and basically laying out a new direction for the music - Murky rock songwriting played by musicians with their feet firmly planted in punk.

With new blood and a full band Visitor Kane is now ready to release their second
album ‘Change of Heart’, recorded in two days live in the studio. It’s a raw and
welcoming record, filled with evocative and thoughtful songwriting drawing on classic rock virtues reminiscent of great songwriters like Gram Parsons and Nick Cave.

‘Came to a Stop’ was released on Friday the 14th of June and ‘Change of Heart’
is out digitally and on vinyl the 25th of October on Part Time Records.
