Com apenas 5 anos pediu ao pai para aprender a tocar violino, influenciada em grande parte pela musica clássica que este ouvia. Teve assim aulas privadas durante 12 anos em musica clássica e aos 16 participou numa banda de música rock constituída por 4 amigos chamada 'Stomp on Melvin'.
O Cinematografo Devin Graham, após a participação de Lindsey no concurso 'America's Got Talent' no ano de 2010, contactou-a via Facebook com a esperança de poder realizar vídeos com a artista.
