Normalerweise bestehen Postings zu Veranstaltungen, wie dem Nichtgeburtstag im Sisyphos, aus zumeist überspitzten Superlativen ala "sensationelle Crowd" - "eine unfassbar geile Stimmung" - "die Leute waren nur am ausrasten" - "was war das bitte für ein überfetter Rave" - "bester Gig aller Zeiten" - "one for the books" usw. - und soll ich euch was verraten? Genau so war es auch! Und das ist noch leicht untertrieben :-D

Und sollte es irgendwann mal einen Award für das weltbeste ArtistCare geben, dann hätte diese Auszeichnung keiner so sehr verdient wie du mein lieber @Marcii - dafür ein Küsschen auf's Nüsschen :)

VEB Direktor Basti sei Dank, gibt es diese wunderschöne Aufnahme zum Nachhören für die Ewigkeit!

Von Ambient über Electronica, minimalistisch und hypnotisch mit dem Drive we like, bis hin zu Peak Time Techno. Ach und: inklusive zweier Kollaborationen mit dem Londoner Produzenten Theo Komp und der Chicagoer House-Legende Robert Owens. Okay?!

This set starts using my intro – the rousing speech by Bill Hicks – which I also used for my ‘SJ Command Performance’ set. I played this three hour set on Sunday morning the 19th March from 7am at Sisyphos Berlin on the main floor (the Hamma Halle which is a most appropriate name).

The place was really full when I started and the people seemed to enjoy my music. There was a very friendly atmosphere with many smiles and wild dancing. Quite a number of people came to compliment me whilst I was playing. One young man even went as fas as to say, in broken German, that I was GOD! Just a little exaggerated perhaps… Another insisted on giving me a 15 Euro tip! I tried to refuse but he simply left the notes next to the mixer and went back to the dance. That never happened to be before in my DJ career. So if that guy is reading this – thanks so much for your kindness and appreciation!

I was feeling a little nervous about this gig because I haven’t played techno for a while – thought I might be out of practice and rusty. But it seemed to go well, the crowd obviously enjoyed it and so did I. Take a listen, see what you think and leave a comment perhaps.

Thanks to all the Sisy crew especially James, for your most attentive and appreciative artist-care. Whoever was doing the lighting for my set was truly stunning. I felt you were so with me. Wanted to thank you at the end but I had to run to pee and couldn't find you.

Phew, this was so far my highlight of the year! I've always dreamed of playing at Nation of Gondwana and after 23 years being a guest at this fantastic Festival i had the pleasure to play there for the first time. Thank you Pyonen for 25 years Nation of Gondwana. What a pleasure to celebrate your birthday and also my 25 years of being a Dj. My playtime after the Reason Y & Patrick Malessa couldn't be better, they delivered a great set and left an energetic crowd.. Thank you. b) underground-dj seit 1994, bekannt für deepen, hypnotischen sound, techno immer mit einem twist, den er auch gerne mit buddy kindred unter die leute bringt.
für seine wurbelnden, schwurbelnden sets, die auch gerne etwas länger dauern dürfen, bevorzugt er geile clubs mit tollen anlagen, kleine feine parties und auch festivals. als mitorganisator des about:marionism - soliraves ist er dem guten zweck stets zugeneigt. mit entschiedenem enthusiasmus peitscht er eine aufgeschlossene, tanzwütige crowd in extase und kann dabei weder selfies vor dem pult, noch nervige diskussionen über analog vs digital oder das richtige abspielgerät ertragen. trotz schnurrbart sind nervige cheesy vocals definitiv ausgeschlossen. 2020 gründete er das Label Charybdis Records mit seinem b2b partner Kindred. hypnotic techno auf die nuss. trance ist hier zustand, nicht schimpfwort!

With his dedication and enthusiasm, he pushes an open minded, dance loving crowd into a state of ecstasy and cannot stand selfies taken in front of the DJ booth, nor annoying discussions about analog vs digital. Despite his mustache, cheesy vocals are definitely not part of his repertoire. In 2020 he founded the small label Charybdis Records together with his b2b partner Kindred. Hypnotic techno for your head. Trance is a state, not an insult!
