After 15 months of restrictions, I had a new opportunity to play again in the wonderful tunnel floor in Sisyphos. Only until 22h, while everyone was wearing masks, OUTSIDE, because the German government still enforces mask mandates.

Lockdowns have been useless measures that haven’t helped in any meaningful way and have actually made things much worse for many groups of population. Just look at places with no restrictions like Florida, Texas or Sweden. They fared better than any other with hard restrictions like NY, CA, NJ, Netherlands, UK or Belgium.

Non-hermetic masks are an illusion of control without almost no effect for an aerosol carried virus, specially in an open air setup. 

Risk groups are vaccinated.

We need to stop this insanity. Reopening completely and going back to normality is long overdue. It's due time to lift all restrictions.

Sa Terza Metari is the end of our Festival season. Every year the beautiful Island of Sardegna is calling and we're coming. I played this set at Caverna Techno Floor on thursday the opening day of the Festival. With some difficulties in the beginning, like a rescue loop, a badly adjusted sound system this mix turned out to be very nice.. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as i liked playing it. The highlight of my 2019 was the surprise closing set of Ozora Festival (wasn't surprise for me, obviously). Playing the last set on a Festival of this scale, after so many people have been dancing and bonding for a week, is very special responsibility. It's like guiding a release from a week of alternative reality, a final cleanse / meditation and a slowdown from the full on into the more mellow, which is a bit melancholic because it is the end, but it's also a hopeful and special moment for taking what we've acquired from that amazing week to our daily life and implementing that feel of unity and goodness that we have experienced with the real world, that needs this energy. Enjoy!

Succeeding the release of Desert Dwellers’ monumental Breath album, Amani and Treavor continue their patronage to cultural celebration and musical heritage with Breath Reimagined Vol. 1. Featuring an abundance of new-comers to the Desert Dwellers sound, this inaugural volume shall precede a trilogy of remix albums to come from the ingenious duo. Throughout Breath Reimagined, 14 brilliant producers within the psychedelic and world-fusion communities exhibit 14 euphonious recreations, each derived from one of the original 10 tracks.

Falling into an altered state of consciousness, Halfred recreates “Dreams Within a Dream” with dub bestrewn over alluring instrumentals. Once you leave your meditative state, Nanosphere merges seductive instrumentation with funky low frequencies as we continue “Traversing the Endless Road.” Forging ahead, Gumi guides you through a turbulent wind of dynamic and atmospheric beats in “Closed Eyes in a Dust Storm.” Traveling by foot, you discover the “One That Shows The Way” through MantisMash’s sonorous synths and Somatoast’s soprano rendition. 

As you begin “Longing For Home,” DISSØLV raises the original downtempo piece an octave higher to create a sonic soundscape while Mindex incorporates elements of glitch. Mumukshu reinvents the original global folk “At Last, Our Refugee” track into a resounding four-minute bass voyage that overlays an accelerated tribal trap foundation. “Praise Her, the Fire Keeper” receives reimaginations from Pitch Black, who adds a bass backdrop to the tranquil piece, and TRIBONE, who takes the composition underground. As listeners continue to explore the “Realms of Splendor,” DRRTYWULVZ commences a series of bass undertones as metal continuously rattles together in Erothyme’s recreation. Globular’s Vicious Ether Remix of “To Be the Air” fosters an upbeat environment for the buoyant acoustic atmosphere. Compelling you back into deep meditation as Breath Reimagined concludes, Bluetech’s Berlin School Mix introduces Holotropic Breathwork to “Breathing the Mysteries.”

My playtime was from 7 - 10 on Sunday morning and maybe this is the last set that i played there, we'll see.. a) meerestief im marianengraben, mit 11.034m tiefe der tiefste punkt auf dem planeten erde.
b) underground-dj seit 1994, bekannt für deepen, hypnotischen sound, techno immer mit einem twist, den er auch gerne mit buddy kindred unter die leute bringt.
für seine wurbelnden, schwurbelnden sets, die auch gerne etwas länger dauern dürfen, bevorzugt er geile clubs mit tollen anlagen, kleine feine parties und auch festivals. als mitorganisator des about:marionism - soliraves ist er dem guten zweck stets zugeneigt. mit entschiedenem enthusiasmus peitscht er eine aufgeschlossene, tanzwütige crowd in extase und kann dabei weder selfies vor dem pult, noch nervige diskussionen über analog vs digital oder das richtige abspielgerät ertragen. trotz schnurrbart sind nervige cheesy vocals definitiv ausgeschlossen. 2020 gründete er das Label Charybdis Records mit seinem b2b partner Kindred. hypnotic techno auf die nuss. trance ist hier zustand, nicht schimpfwort!

For his long, whirling and swirling sets he prefers clubs with a great sound system, small but vibrant parties and also big festivals. Vittjas Tief also enjoys playing for solidarity raves and acts as a co-organizer of the popular night ‘about:marionism'. With his dedication and enthusiasm, he pushes an open minded, dance loving crowd into a state of ecstasy and cannot stand selfies taken in front of the DJ booth, nor annoying discussions about analog vs digital. Despite his mustache, cheesy vocals are definitely not part of his repertoire. In 2020 he founded the small label Charybdis Records together with his b2b partner Kindred. Hypnotic techno for your head. Trance is a state, not an insult!
