Relive the magic of the 2024 Deck’d Out summer season closing party with this exclusive 4-hour live DJ set recording from the Monkey Loft rooftop. On Thursday, September 5th, Saqib and Pezzner took the stage for an unforgettable back-to-back performance from 7 PM to 11 PM.


Together, their mutual admiration created an electrifying synergy that captivated the crowd and closed out the summer season in style. The energy at the closing party was phenomenal, making it a night to remember.

Saqib is a producer and DJ based in Brooklyn, NY. He is the creator of beats on time( @beats-on-time). He has tracks on Desert Hearts Black, Abracadabra, Maccabi House, Flying Circus, Sol Selectas, Dream Culture, CUE, Lump Records, Saregama India, and more.

Pezzner was born in Tarzana, California in 1975 and currently lives in Seattle, Washington. He is 5 foot 7 inches in height and weighs about 165 lbs. He currently works for Seattle’s Can Can Cabaret as their in-house music composer and producer of all things sound related. Besides writing music for theatre, night clubs and headphones, Pezzner composes music for vision and function, and teaches electronic music writing concepts in his Seattle based studio since 2008.

He sleeps exactly like any other man but, as you will no doubt have noticed, he is not an orthodox painter of the old school, but rather a modern artist. A designer of sound.

Hey what’s up guys! Finally managed to post my mix from this year’s Summer Kamp. Had a hard time finding the right words, but this event has played host to some of my most formative and memorable experiences as a DJ, and it became the dancefloor where I felt the most comfortable and rewarded for exploring the full breadth of my tastes in dance music. 

This set is no exception, touching on disco, funk, 80s, indie, melodic, prog, pop remixes, tribal, acid, tekno, rollers, speed oldies, rave, breaks, ratchet, dnb-step, liquid, more funk and feel-good 80s - before rounding it all out with a stand by me/pitbull mashup.

Played from 3:30 - 5 AM (running 10 min behind) on Monday morning, I was amazed and touched by how much energy there still was on the floor after 4 days of full on raging, a testament to the energy and love infused in this community! 💖

Viva Recordings found success with its first debut from Johnny Fiasco and the with Rick Preston's Altruism EP, which gained notoriety when "Spring Fling" was featured on Mark Farina's San Francisco Sessions Vol.1. From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success.
