This edition of of our mix series features the legendary Solar of the quintessential Sunset Sound System crew of San Fransisco and avant garde music label Squirrels On Film. We dug up a  recording from one of his last sets at the Monkey Loft and it's a masterclass on how to thread a narrative through many genres without losing the psychedelic plot. Solar will be kicking things off for Shameless' Thursday night summertime weekly rooftop party Deck'd Out at the Monkey Loft. Joining him will be Foxy McLeod along with  Innerflight residents Kadeejah Streets and Rhines.

From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success. Over the last few years we have been working on personal projects but now have decided to bring the label back and take the Viva name back.
