"Mr. Linden is the alias of Jeremy Linden, an Alaska-raised, Seattle-based DJ, designer, and producer who's an integral part of the local underground electronic music community. His childhood dream of becoming a DJ was achieved when he became involved in college radio, yet it was Alaska's surprisingly healthy rave scene that fueled his desire to DJ live at parties, and this passion has burned bright ever since. With his decades-deep love for dance music, Jeremy's eclectic crates and versatile taste allows him to play music appropriate for any party, and he's a tireless supporter of DJ and nightlife culture. He's currently the Creative Director at Underscore Recordings, one-half of the DJ duo "Lo|Key" with Underscore label-mate Hector J. Of the artists who inspired the launch of 3am Recordings, Miles Hollway & Elliot Eastwick are probably those who are at the top of the chart; initially producing as the superb Salt City Orchestra with Si Brad, then latterly as Reset, with Merlin, providing yet more absolutely outstanding deep vibes. I've already recorded 'A Nod to Salt City Orchestra', so felt it was time to do 'A Nod To Reset', as their tracks remain regular features in my sets to this day. Founded in early 1998, the goal was to consistently put out records that would be loved and played by many in the house music community. Viva Recordings found success with its first debut from Johnny Fiasco and the with Rick Preston's Altruism EP, which gained notoriety when "Spring Fling" was featured on Mark Farina's San Francisco Sessions Vol.1. From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success. Over the last few years we have been working on personal projects but now have decided to bring the label back and take the Viva name back.
