Tamango Records' upcoming reference comes from young enfant-prodige Nathan Alzon: if we are to speak of rising talents, he's definitely one to look out for. The French-Taiwanese artist lands on the label for the first time with the classy and sleek 'Heartbreaker' EP, which follows previous releases on NO ART, What NxT, and Deeperfect. On the remix side, we welcome Spaniard revelation Rendher, who provides one of his gloomy, rolling numbers.

The EP kicks off with 'Heartbreaker', a lush deep-house piece filled with full-bodied grooves, silk pads, and a catchy female vocal that will resonate throughout your body.

The term ‘track of the summer’ tends to be thrown around a lot nowadays, but it’s safe to say that its use for this record is most certainly warranted as No Art founders ANOTR bring one of their most-requested IDs ever to the label just in time to soundtrack those late summer months. With the vocal hook, “Lil’ Mama spend some time with me?” already sung by sell-out crowds across the globe, and early fans ranging from BBC Radio 1 royalty Pete Tong to UK house legend Mr. G, and Masters at Work's finest, Louie Vega. Mancunian duo System2 (@system2-1) are up next on VIVa MUSIC, with six high­energy tracks that wouldn’t have sounded out of place at The Hacienda.

Title track ‘E​verybody’s Freakin’​’ sets the tone for the EP, closely followed by the gritty bass and catchy snares of ‘W​e’re Here’​. The intensity drops with ‘W​aiting For It’​and ‘H​ypnotic Carpet’​, but both still deliver a whirring groove. The package is completed with the two digital extras ‘H​ome Time’​and ‘K​eep Going’​.

Started in October 2006 by Steve Lawler, VIVa Music began life as a conduit for the internationally renowned DJ and Producer to release the wealth of underground music he encountered on his travels. Having previously handled the now-classic and traditional vinyl label Harlem Records, Lawler decided VIVa was to be a forward thinking outlet for quality music and boldly announced that VIVa was to be digital only. As well as a clear mission to look towards the future of the music industry, this was a step to ensure that music could be released quickly and retain the freshness that the labels A&R was struck by. Far from the template set out by many of Lawler's contemporaries, VIVa quickly established itself as a label where artists could be themselves and write music that isn't defined by just A&R, but by one simple guideline: Quality. This has meant the label has gone on to release music from a wide range artists, from major players like Lawler and Audiofly through to burgeoning talent like Livio & Roby and Nicole Moudaber.
