Procedure:
1. Transcribed vocal melody and composed new harmonic form using relative phrygian (A phrygian) and relative minor (D minor) tonal centers. 
2. Processed original track with AI tool, LALAL.AI, to extract vocal, bass, percussion, and background stems.
3. Using Melodyne, repitched bass and background stems to comport with new harmonies and form.
4. Sequenced piano (montuno), acoustic bass (tumbao), orchestral string pad, and Latin percussion tracks in Reason. Also sequenced a short Fender Rhodes solo.
5. Light mastering with Izotope Ozone and FabFilter plugins.
6. The last 60 seconds of “Tripped” were left untouched, save for added Latin percussion and mastering effects.
