Somewhere far away, where life in these parts was itself hard and dangerous,
as the sun rose, seventeen children from different families played a game called Galdur'ka.
Even though it was called a children's game, it didn't make it any less dangerous.
The game was something like hide-and-seek, but there were some features.
In the game could participate children of both sexes.
The children were divided into two groups of 8 and one princess. Some presented themselves as galdurs and others as warriors with swords. The galdurs used their dark magic to hide the princess and take away her voice. There were ten hiding locations and everyone knew about them. The galdurs could hide the princess in 5 locations and also move the princess (1 location per day).

The princess in turn had to give a total of 10 clues to the warriors (2 clues per location), and predict
where she would be taken the next day. Galdurs also came up with the other 5 clues leading to false paths (1 false clue to 1 location).
And if the warriors could not decipher the princess clues, and went on a false path, then they either lost a warrior (during the battle), or one of the warriors went to the side of the magicians because of the dark magic.

In addition to real fights among mages and warriors, a princess could be injured to varying degrees, or just get sick. This is how the children of one of the Scandinavian peoples tested the strength of each participant in this game.

Wiki says that daydream is a fantasy that a person has while awake.

Daydreaming is the stream of consciousness that detaches from current external tasks when attention drifts to a more personal and internal direction. This phenomenon is common in people's daily life shown by a large-scale study in which participants spend 47% of their waking time on average on daydreaming . There are various names of this phenomenon including mind wandering, fantasy, spontaneous thoughts, etc. Daydreaming is the term used by Jerome L. Singer whose research programs laid the foundation for nearly all the subsequent research in this area today. The list of terminologies assigned by researchers today puts challenges on identifying the common features of the phenomenon, in this case daydreaming, and on building collective work among researchers.

There are many types of daydreams, and there is no consistent definition amongst psychologists, however the characteristic that is common to all forms of daydreaming meets the criteria for mild dissociation. Also, the impacts of different types of daydreams are not identical. While some are disruptive and deleterious, others may be beneficial in some way.
