This is my HipHop tribute to a club that DJ Houseshoes rocked for some years in Detroit (Post Shelter).  Northern Lights was the place for anyone who loved HipHop, Soul and just all around good music.  We vibed, we 2-step'd & danced, we drank, ate good and did the "Erryol Flynn" dance.  Everyone hung at Northern Lights!  I remember me & my homie 87 (Nick) toasting it up with Detroit's finest cats like Proof, Baatin, Dwele, Ehzhi, T3, Young RJ, Phat Kat, Marv One, Super Thug, Big Tone and all the homies.  Houseshoes played the best HipHop classics while the club goers rocked the dancefloor.  You'd hear music that you'd never hear at regular clubs.  No fights it was all about the love!  I miss "Northern Lights"!  What a DOPE ass spot that was!?
