Miserere Mei Deus

Born under a dragon's spell
Buddhist rites sealed my fate
Innocence lost, spirit bound
Years of torment came around

Marriages failed, intimacy gone
Nerves left damaged and withdrawn
The dragon's grip brought endless pain
Would this anguish ever wane?
For decades I could not feel
Intimacies meant to heal
The pudenal nerves were damaged, numb
How I longed for wholeness to come

The Lord's power broke every chain
Deliverance flowed like healing rain
The foul beast cast to pits below
I felt freedom's wave begin to flow

At the altar, the prophet neared
He sensed the darkness I had feared
"Who dwells within?" he firmly pressed
The dragon's voice then confessed

From Buddhist curses, snares of dread
Oppression's grip, dragon's fiery tread
The saving Name has made me whole
Delivering my long-captived soul

After thirty years of misery
From dragon's claws, I am set free
The Lord has healed, restored my life
No more torn by spiritual strife

By Jesus' blood and Spirit's breath
I've conquered fear, embraced new birth
The dragon slain, its curse now broken
My song of joy forever spoken!
