The recorder consort B-Five has been performing on numerous concert stages throughout Europe since 2003. The international ensemble appeared at the MA Festival (Bruges), the Klara Festival (Brussels), the Festival de Música Antigua (Barcelona), with NDR (North German Broadcasting Corporation, Hamburg), at the Franconian Summer (Nuremberg), and the Festival of Early Music in St. Ruprecht (Vienna). With its extensive set of instruments, B-Five achieves an astonishingly colorful consort sound. In addition to the splendid Renaissance works that form the centerpiece of the ensemble’s programs, B-Five is developing a repertoire of contemporary works for recorder consort in collaboration with composers.
