With the inaugural outing on Vivrant in the ‘Taiga’ EP making the number 1 spot on Beatport’s Top 100 Progressive releases chart and number 2 overall, Jeremy Olander set the tone for his new imprint in a big way.

Hellbent on exceeding expectations with every drop on Vivrant and staying true to his word of using his new platform to do whatever he wants, Jeremy has decided to, at last, let his Dhillon monicker out of his proverbial cage.

With a darker and more drum-oriented sound, Dhillon was last sighted on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and the highly regarded A-Sides compilation series. With back-to-back appearances in 2013 and 2014 with ‘Layerleaf’ and ‘Lost’ respectively, Dhillon now makes a much anticipated return with a first-ever three-track offering in the ‘Intro’ EP.

Comprised of saw tooth bass-laden and groovy opener ’Intro’, forceful peak-time banger ‘Umbra’ and dark, sinister ‘Black Widoe’, the EP is a diverse yet cohesive body of work. It demonstrates Olander’s unearthly ability to seamlessly float between styles and adds to an already awe-inspiring resumé that looks like one of a hardened veteran, not a 28 year old vowing he’s only starting to get his feet wet.

Liverpool based DJ and producer James Silk releases “Talk Dirty”, his first single since signing to 3 Beat. 

With a fat, bouncing, bassline and soulful vocal this is deep and funky house at its best. An infectious, rolling belter, “Talk Dirty” been getting a lot of love in clubs across the country and is all set to be the soundtrack to your summer.

Silk burst onto the electronic music scene in 2012 with floor-filler “Can’t Wait” in 2012. The track climbed to number 2 on Beatport’s Deep House chart and was played in clubs and on radio across the world. He has since been featured on Pete Tong’s U.S radio show. He’s also a big hit on Beatport. 

Always fresh and full of groove, Silk’s cuts have been released on labels such as Defected, Get Physical and OFF Recordings. As well as Pete Tong, Silk counts the likes of Sasha, Laurent Garnier and Groove Armada as fans of his music.
James has coupled chart success with DJ gigs across the globe, from the super cool venues of Berlin to the cubs of Moscow and Sydney. 2015 sees James continue his success - signing to 3 Beat and releasing his very own imprint ‘Heyo’.

With the first official release of Code Red under his belt, it was just a matter of time before Years would return to Code Red. The Norwegian talent his collaboration Zulu with Marcus Schössow was a great start of the label. Schössow turned to Years once again to close the marvelous first year of Code Red with this massive track called Forget You.

With early support from Tiësto, this new beauty from Years is bound to be a big anthem. Whether you play it at a festival, in the club or on the radio, Forget You touches you. The powerful bassline, euphoric synths and solid drive makes this new production by Years one no to forget easily. And we didn’t even spoke about the beautiful vocals by PRYVT RYN and his strong lyrics.

After the success of Zulu and his Sun Is Shining remix, Years proves he is here to stay. The young talent keeps putting out groovy productions, but doesn’t limit himself to a genre or specific sound. There are no boundaries to his creativity, something that Forget You proves once again when you compare it to his previous releases. And we love him for that, that’s what music and Code Red is about.

Because we truly believe in Years his talent, we will release a mini documentary about the Norwegian DJ/producer. Juan Deminicis is a very young and talented DJ/producer whose taste has impressed many lovers and spinners of dance music spectrum! His sets and productions are the perfectly melting of the funkiness of pure house music, mixed with the avantgardistic vibe of progressive and the energy of techno! He now lands at Sudbeats doors with a tasty 3 track Ep of goodness.
'Babel' is brooding melodic deep voyage, backed with plenty of drive and a moody vibe, whilst remaining firmly a dance floor monster. Tinkling melees cascade while effects turn them in to dreamy elements while the solid bass powers us along. 
'Ekos' is a beautiful warm dreamy slab of musical magic thats like a hazy summers day, swelteringly warm, but also oozing of coolness and sophistication. Subtlety is its key here.
Rounding things off superbly we find "Orbital'. This peak time eerie melody laden gem is full of power as its big bass paves the way, caressed with its haunting spoken word. Serious stuff!

Dutch producer and DJ Reinier Zonneveld is racking up accolades about as fast as new fans are losing their shit to his far reaching beats. Having already released on Richie Hawtin’s Minus label and the ever-influential Traum Schalplatten, Zonneveld’s latest, an EP titled Rushchamber, is out on the increasingly important Stil Vor Talent, an imprint run by tastemaker Oliver Koletzki.

The 3-track EP captures the variation Zonneveld is known for and kicks off with “Sharp Bust,” a careening, pure techno number with detuned horns and whirring rushes. The titular track 2, “Rushchamber,” weaves in groovier house influences in the beat, and “Flatchat” levels off somewhere in the middle. The collection reflects the wide palate that Zonneveld, who was raised on classical music, brings to the studio.

Diynamic’s ‘Four To The Floor’ series now hits installment number six in fine style. Behind each of the four tracks are a crack selection of artists old and new, all of whom are making their debut on the label run so famously by Solomun. 

After marking 2015 with a stand out debut Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, our final offering is from exciting newcomer Jonas Rathsman with ‘Cobalt’ — a slick and propulsive track with staccato bass, driving beats and lots of turbulent late night synths that really get your attention.

It was originally meant to be a techno remix/version of "Obscurité" but i ended up using only the arpeggio from the breakdown of the original and i even chose to play it in a different key as i felt it sounded better for "this version".
So in short this is a totally different track and not really a remix.

US house sensation Moon Boots made his Anjunadeep debut late last year with the soulful throwback grooves of ‘Red Sky’, which picked up big support from Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, Jason Bentley on KCRW and from a host of tastemaker DJs including Gorgon City, Tiga and Claude VonStroke. Two UK talents now step up for remix duties – Medlar and Kahwe.

Medlar has previously remixed Disclosure, Groove Armada and Tensnake, and put out a string of gorgeous EPs on Wolf Music. He ups the ante on his remix, blending the original melodies with dark bassline and punchy percussion.

Kahwe brings his own unique style to proceedings, delivering a mellow take full of atmospheric live percussion, warm fuzzy basslines and cascading melodies.

The group consisting of Musumeci, Francesco Sorrentino, Simone Carpenzano and Paolo Lauretta have brought forward giant, majestic synths, agonisingly prolonged builds and drops that are capable of both melting faces and hearts simultaneously. 

Essential listening for anyone who wants a peak-time cut destined to get your crowd going.
