Bristol alt-rockers Belles of Moscow were conceived in 2017 as a tribute to a lost friend. Taking their cue from soul-searching rock legends like Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine and Jeff Buckley, the band started writing cathartic songs to help heal personal wounds. Bringing together post-rock dynamics, 90s angst and big pop hooks, they have forged a powerful and unique sound that is both a celebration of life and an exploration of darker spaces.

The band have won over audiences with their charismatic, high-energy performances at iconic local venues including The Louisiana, The Fleece, Exchange and Moles among others. Their debut single ‘Beyond’, a blistering ode to friendship and memory, was produced at Christchurch Studios (Massive Attack, PJ Harvey) by noise guru Dom Mitchison (Spectres, Lice, Heavy Lungs) and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Depeche Mode, NIN).
