Romanian DJ/producer BOg returns on John Digweed’s legendary Bedrock imprint with his single, ‘Rakuten’. With releases on Crosstown Rebels, Bedrock Records and a upcoming release on Get Physical, this 24 years young artist already managed to get himself a respected place in the international house scene. 

‘Rakuten’ perfectly showcases what the young Romanian is capable of. A dreamy 9 minute storyteller which slowly builds to it’s peak. It’s easy to hear why this track get's heavily played by John Digweed himself. Already released on vinyl, the digital release is set for the 17th of July on Bedrock Records.

Poker Flat Recordings never disappoints. La Terra is another exquisite release, this time from New York mainstay George Morel (@georgemorel) and the deep vibes of Rowee (@roweemood). Morel has been leaving impressions on club goers and listeners alike for two decades, and has a killer back catalogue featuring releases in Groove On Records, Get Physical Music, Kittball, Suara, Circle music and more. Teaming up with the Italian producer Rowee, also known as Leonardo Gonnelli, the pair share a release featuring two cuts of pure deep heat.

'La Terra' is a burner that chugs along via an urgent rhythm section, before introducing numerous curveball synths, arps, acidic squiggles and more.

'Rushing Through the Mind' sees Rowee take to the controls solo, and dives right into his signature deep, hypnotic grooves. Over 8 plus minutes this deep tech house bomb mutates and expands into a pure dancefloor moment.

Exclusive Enzo Elia & Odd1 'Dirty Hotel'

For his latest EP 'Connecting the Dots' Enzo Elia teams up with three befriended artists - one for each of the tracks that are featured on the EP. 'Dirty Hotel', the first take of the three tracker, was produced with Engrave Ltd co-label founder Dodi Palese under his Odd1 moniker. Beside the fact that you can feel the friendship bound over the whole 8 minutes and 2 seconds lasting track the duo created a 'monster', in the most positive way, that pushes its listeners to the boundaries of melodic electronic music. 'Dirty Hotel' builds up the tension with its very first beat before spheric synth pads are added that in the course of the track are accompanied by strings. All soundscapes combined eagerly wait to enfold their full potential to twirl and curl but lead to a xylophone solo before the synth chords blow up and finish what Enzo and Dodi started with the first beat: a melodic master piece.

A label made of three key players, Berlin’s SOLIDE recently expanded their family, welcoming fond musical acquaintances into the fold with a various artists compilation; Solid(e) State Vol 1. Resuming form, one third of the core, Kalyma, returns for another solo expedition to the club with his ‘Tanger Night Drive’ EP. Berlin-via-Gran Canaria, Kalyma’s percussive style of club music wields a certain charm. Whisking us away on a pacey drive through the Morrocan night, Kalyma rolls through the deep mysticism of Tangier in the title track; ‘Tanger Night Drive’. A pulsing kick and punky bass, meet the melodious tune of steel pan chimes and whispering crickets in the low-line. Tom rhythms and arpeggios intensify, encapsulating the racey, blissful energy of a night in Tangier. Making a complete U-turn, synth-led ‘Arlequin’ brings real rave emotion. Vibey percussion underpins the experience, whilst a distinct air of grit comes through in dubbed out, euphoric keys. Heart strings tug, souls stir, a second mesmeric piano line seals the deal; all elements combine and compliment. Closing out the journey, Ancient Egyptian devotee and Budapest native, Sobek comes through on the remix adding his distinguished touch to ‘Tanger Night Drive’; subverting the flow and capitalising on the toms, before adding his own depth with moody, semi-ominous twinges.
