This, I think, is a sort of dystopian lament asking for a guy named Figaro: Where did he go?
The core sample of this track is a short snippet ripped off from the famous opera "Barber of Sevillia" by Rossini.
This sample is treated in a multitude of ways.
Other parts are created with the Novation Supernova II.

An experiment in using a kick track with rhythmic percussion, Helen provided vocals  in a single take, after adding some vst based guitar, orchestral decoration and reverb this is what we finished up with.

Had an idea a few days ago for a dream sequence where a dearly departed woman appeared to her lover in his sleep, so I sent it to my awesome buddy & synthmeister John Buckle for ideas.

In addition to adding his glorious synths, he was also majorly instrumental (excuse the pun lol) in the creation & production of the finished track.
 
Note: I purposely heavily processed the vocal to give the impression of a ghostly voice.

Some information about this track’s processing: it was processed with “ The Pulsar Echorec” VST, so it should sound more analog. the Echorec disk involving magnetic saturation and hysteresis…I wanted a warped warm sound so there will be areas on the track where there are dropouts coloring and artifacts. I love the way it adds grit musically. It’s basically an old fashion tape machine. In other word, it dirties up the track, and adds character…I love it!
