We're often our own worst critics. The negative self-talk can be cruel, it gives depression power and eventually, we start to believe the things we tell ourselves.

We invited one of the world’s leading experts on self-compassion, Dr Kristin Neff, to teach us a thing, or two, about being kind to ourselves.

Kristin studied communications as an undergraduate at the University of California at Los Angeles (B.A., 1988). She did her graduate work at University of California at Berkeley (Ph.D., 1997), studying moral development with Dr. Elliot Turiel. Her dissertation research was conducted in Mysore, India, where she examined children’s moral reasoning. She then spent two years of post-doctoral study with Dr. Susan Harter at Denver University, studying issues of authenticity and self-concept development. Her current position at the University of Texas at Austin started in 1999, and she was promoted to Associate Professor in 2006.

During Kristin’s last year of graduate school in 1997 she became interested in Buddhism, and has been practicing meditation in the Insight Meditation tradition ever since. While doing her post-doctoral work she decided to conduct research on self-compassion – a central construct in Buddhist psychology and one that had not yet been examined empirically.

In addition to her pioneering research into self-compassion, she has developed an 8-week program to teach self-compassion skills. The program, co-created with her colleague Chris Germer, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is called Mindful Self-Compassion. Her book, Self-Compassion, was published by William Morrow in April, 2011.

Episode 5: Dr Kristin Neff - Getting to Grips with Self-Compassion

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is a choice, courage is an energy. Everything on the earth plane is energy. Just as fear is energy. Courage is also energy. One that exists at a higher frequency of possibility. One that opens new doors. 

The world is our mirror. The world reflects back to us our beliefs, thoughts, feelings, intentions, choices and actions. We can change our experience of the outer world by reprogramming our consciousness with new seed thoughts.

For some several decades Indigos, Rainbows, Crystals and Blue Rays, have been incarnating here on a mission to assist with the ascension process of Gaia. Blue Rays beings are strongly connected with the star system Sirius. They have lots of blue and violet energy in their aura that can be seen psychically. 

They are natural alchemists and skilled energy workers. They have a huge capacity for compassion and love. They are here to transmute dense difficult energies. Most have chosen difficult mission and often they incarnate in challenging circumstances. When they incarnate, like all other Starseeds, they forget who they are, their natural gifts and soul mission. 

Many choose ‘dark’ families and some ‘dark’ cultures where there are dense patterns of abuse that need to be released. This is extra challenging because Blue Ray beings tend to be ultra-sensitive. They can be effected by negative energies and criticism by beings around them that do not understand them nor resonate with them. This can create a strong alchemical process within Blue Rays where they need to heal themselves before they can awaken to their mission here. 

They need to learn how to handle this sensitivity and know how to generate strong energetic boundaries before they can really get on line with their energetic-alchemical mission. Their capacity to love can sometimes manifest as an inability to move on. In extreme cases, this can also show up as addiction. 

Blue Ray beings tend to be more empathic, mystical and quieter than Indigos. Many are drawn to energy work and healing. Blue Ray beings can attract lower energies and entities because they are learning to send all such beings to the light. 

When a Blue Ray being activates they heal genetic damage and manipulation in their energy fields. When this happens, they feel less effected by the world and more able to powerfully and positively affect the reality around them. Blue Ray beings, once awakened, work with intensifying their lightbody and they do this through connecting with masters of light and angels. They are connected to Sirian angels and archangels as well as master healers from Sirius. Blue ray are soul activators and awakeners. They are light-bearers shining a bright light in this time of global transition. They come to assist, touch and heal many people.  

(As an aside they tend to be aged between late 30’s and early 60’s. Astrological water and air signs or have lots of these two elements showing up in their charts).

Holding My Heart

This is a remastered meditation that was originally uploaded September 2020. 

In ancient Irish tradition it is said that the Tuatha De Danann (Faery Races) came from the stars. The Faery Races left this dimension of the earth-plane as humanity descended in consciousness and vibration. They retreated into the faery mounds, disappearing from this world into an inner earth world. This happened, in different parts of the world, before and after the fall of Atlantis. 

This meditation invokes the powerful Elven Star Symbol to clear and protect your field. In this meditation you will: 

Imagine in the east an elven 7-pointed silver star, with a background of emerald green fire. Surrender your limiting stories and beliefs. Invoke the star in your energy field to protect the child within. Your playful self. It can also be your wounded self. 

Imagine in the south an elven 7-pointed silver star, with a background of electric blue fire. Surrender your ancient conflicts battles. Invoke the star in your energy field to protect the adolescent within. Your curious adventurous self. Sexual awakening. It can also be your wounded self. 

Imagine in the west an elven 7-pointed silver star, with a background of diamond white fire. Surrender any toxic emotional energy that needs be released. Invoke the star in your energy field to protect the adult self within. The ego has stabilised into a fear or love based being.

Invoke the star in your energy field to protect the elder self within. Depending on the kind of life lived this is or will be your wise or regretful self.
