After just over two years, Sanct J returns to our catalog with a new EP, this time with three original tracks. “Creeper” presents itself with lower notes and carries a ghostly atmosphere, it is as strange as it is gloomy, perfect for darker environments. “Be”, which gives the EP its name, features vocals that echo in the environment and move from side to side, while distorted digital arpeggios enter the mind and mess with the normal communication of neurons. “Relativity” closes things off with intensity, kicks hit hard like a sledgehammer while some melodic pads try to soften the pressure, but it will be difficult to contain it. Be prepared for different energy levels.

Opening track Romeo revolves around a sparse, dramatic bassline and similarly sentimental synths, making for introspective flashes on the dancefloor.

On November we’re greeted by grand melodies with huge, spacious pads and monumental breakdowns, the perfect ingredients to spark up those emphatic, hands-in-the-sky type of moments.

Meanwhile, Monocloque flips the script and reveals ample pads in a spectral, dark sound palette, decked with ominous synths and looming resolutions.

Splatters of percussion and haphazard chords are key on Compass North, rounding up the release in a similarly lofty yet dance-provoking manner.
