My sound is built on energy, emotion, and discipline — inspired by the fight, both in music and in life.

From a young age, I became a true fan of hardcore music and everything that came with the scene. Too young to attend events, but at 16 I finally experienced my very first hardcore party. Around the early 2000s, as hardstyle began to rise, I started following that closely as well. In 2007, I could proudly tick off my first hardstyle event too.

As a dedicated fan of the music, and with a growing interest in the technical side, I started exploring the DJ decks myself years later.

Choosing just one favorite? That’s not easy. Hardcore was my first love, hardstyle came next, but my passion runs deep for both.

Most recent gig: Harmony of Hardcore 2025 – a true milestone.

DJ Mistiek, and from Belgian Limburg, is a passionate artist who lives for music. What began as a love for playing beats grew into a deep-rooted urge to create unique musical experiences. His sets are known for their energy, originality and sense of atmosphere.

With performances in, among other things, the iconic Versuz – where he was now allowed to play his own set three times – DJ Mistiek proved his place in the Belgian music scene. In 2024, he took another ambitious step: he trained as a DJ and music producer. In February, he successfully graduated, determined to develop and grow as an artist not only as a DJ, but also as a producer.

Creativity, perseverance and a deep passion for music are at the core of DJ Mistiek's identity. He continues to build his own sound, with the aim of touching and connecting people through music.
