Black Rose’s Twentieth EP comes from the Italian producer Bastinov, already well known in the techno scene. The whole release is characterized by minimal and atmospherical elements. In “Havenly” the melodies will bring you in a surreal dimension like the touch of the angles you’ll find yourself in heaven. “Valkiria” with his epic lead in the break anticipate the strong groove in perfect contrast between sweet melodies and strong drums. For the first release of 2022, we are pleased to welcome Amsterdam- based Romanian Alex Preda, who already participated in Odd Echoes Vol. 3, and this time, he presents his debut EP  ̈Moons & Stars ̈ on the label with a fabulous remix by Lexer.

The Preda sound has developed over the years, with his taste developing into the electronic sounds of the likes of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis in his teens, into his signature driving techno. 

Always with an element of warmth and melody underneath and has evolved into integrating live elements into his performances, something Alex has been perfecting over the years.

The lead track Might Be Love ft. Katty Heath, is the perfect opener, full of groove and catchy melodies, that play along with the fx lead vocal, creating a super club piece.

Lexer approaches the reinterpretation of the lead track, adding new and catchy melodies, synthesizers and textures, giving his well-known stamp and taking the version to his own terrain.

Delving deeper into the EP, we find more of Alex's signature sound, but with a deeper and more emotional touch as shown in  ̈Don't Move" where the focus is on the beautiful chords that make the perfect match with the celestial synth melodies.

To close the EP we have “Searching” which is also another dance floor oriented track, fitted especially to turn the heat on the on any set. And last but not least, “Away from IT” is the perfect electronica/breaks closing track to round up this special EP.

When reality stands in the way of creativity...feeling like you can’t do what you want and mentally block yourself, finally becoming your own worst enemy. Mindscape EP is a musical expression from dutch techno artist VNTM, going through the paces of these uncertain and
distopian times. The title track of the EP, ‘Mindscape’, sets in with dark chords, dissonant elements taking over disturbingly and blocking the road ahead, though not able to hold back from beliefs, yet energizing them. ‘Omniverse’ is an outburst of vibes sending out energy and
hope for better times ahead, where ‘Personification’ is more of a reflecting track where the mind tries to come at ease.
