@highly_minogue's Spinning Around is one of Melbourne community radio's most beloved shows, broadcast on @area3000. The outfit's pulled together a bunch of the show's friends from its first year to celebrate birthday #1 and raise money for some awesome causes.

"To celebrate the end of 2021 and Spinning Around's first year in action, Highly has invited a number of this year's guests to contribute to a new charity compilation. The compilation features new original productions from each artist, with all proceeds going directly to Australian Indigenous organisations - including Pay The Rent and the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service.

"Displacement mapping adds complex geometries on digital surfaces - in the same way, music adds complexity to our lives and transforms the environments we inhabit at many levels. 'Electron Displacement Map' explores emotional pads and atmospheric textures battling against driving breaks and booming bass to create a dreamscape suited to your typical 4am outdoor rave."

I prepared this set for the chillout at Wisdom Seekers 2022, amazing weekend in a forest of France, full of friends and fantastic music! The idea for the set was born from experimentation, I like mixing really melodic liquid dnb with darker, deeper sounds, and making a real journey through the set

It's the first time I played a drum and bass set, after many years of listening to it in England since I was small, such a pleasure, huge thanks to the Hikayam association and everyone who came to dance like crazy, we exploded the chill hahaha 😄

Gojnea76 is not like other Romanian artists, although perhaps once part of the Ro scene G76 is now an entirely different beast. His productions and DJ sets have a certain mechanical funk to them that swagger where others play it straight. Taking a much darker route than many of his contemporaries, his sweet spot can be found in many of the unreleased gems that can be found on his Bandcamp page. Taking inspiration from a myriad source of creative outpouring, G76 expands his musical palettes in all directions  and the ideas that he melds together are a true testament to this process.
