@Kindness: It’s been a pleasure seeing how “Monument” started stretching its legs over time: from 5 to 7 to 12 minutes at one point,” said Bainbridge. “When Robyn and I spoke about reworking the song, it was already so right, so hauntingly gossamer, that it seemed it could only be remixed by taking away—stripping things back to the core of its groove. I’m very happy to have Busiswa on this (even slightly slower) version of “Monument,” making a deeper connection with the Kwaito shuffle I thought was lurking somewhere in the heart of the track. Recorded in a cottage in Belle Isle, the anticipated Mauka EP is imbued with the surreal, natural wonder of its environment. Self assured in its songwriting, Vogue Dots is a project of abstract edges that contain a vigorous respect for melody. 

New Brunswick natives Tynan Dunfield and Babette Hayward craft seductive ambience in the form of melodic songs shrouded in mystery. Vogue Dots is a product of a season spent in a Belle Isle cottage writing, producing electronic fixations with surrealistic edge and synth-based structures. The result of the project's dynamic is nocturnal, filled with swooning emotion and crisp palettes that throb with meticulous layers of dark, beautiful noise.

"Barricade (Matter Of Fact)” appears on Yoncalla, the debut album by Yumi Zouma. 

Where Yumi Zouma’s initial EPs were created in isolation, capturing the nuances of each member’s life half a world away, Yoncalla was given a singular voice. “Yumi Zouma has always been an exercise in refining ideas and collaborating,” reflects guitarist Charlie Ryder, “but this was the first time we weren’t limited or protected by distance. With Yoncalla, the process was different, and it can be scary to present raw ideas to your friends ‐ but it’s also incredible to see songs evolve through the sparks of inspiration that bounce between people in the same room.” That intimacy is apparent on Yoncalla ‐ an album about being close to people, rather than miles apart. Yumi Zouma’s effortless waves of harmony have been redefined and the creative process laid bare to expose an act more unguarded and interconnected than ever before.

To capture the concepts on Yoncalla, New Zealand visual artist Henrietta Harris was tapped to create the cover art, illustrating the band together on a front cover for the first time.
