This beautiful poem by Anglo-American aviator and poet John Gillespie Magee Jr. has been adopted by aviators the world over and is especially loved by pilots, past and present from the Royal Airforce in the UK. I dedicate this to the RAF and especially the brave men and women who flew, into battle in World War 2. Men like Charles Clarke in the picture, who I had the honour of meeting last year.
The accompanying music is "Somewhere In Between" by the super talented composer, August Wilhelmsson.

High Flight - by John Gillespie Magee.

After shouting for the past 6 months, I thought I would treat myself to a slice of poetry. Not any old poem mind. Oh No! This is Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening",  written in 1922 by Robert Frost, and published in 1923 in his New Hampshire volume. 
It is one of the most rewarding poems to read out loud and is perfect for this time of year. Happy Christmas - Enjoy.
