Following up his debut “Sycomore” Ep signed in 2015 on Arboretum with a remix of Samuel Kerridge, the Italian born, Berlin based electronic music producer Mogano returns on Voidance with his new work “Terrarium”.

By revisiting the inital approach of re-processing traditional eastern instruments such as the Egyptian Rebab into cinematic landscapes and sharp gritty textures, this work also consistently moves towards
more Industrial, Techno, IDM and Drum&Bass territories.

This Mediterranean cultural bridging got even more refined by the contribution of the Maltese producer Llimbs which reveals a vibrant, ritualistic reinterpretation of the opening track “Terrarium”.

A tone lies at the foundation of everything in the physical world.

Latvian producer, DJ and promoter, operating mainly in areas of post-industrial, technoid and experimental electronic music. A music activist for nearly 20 years, he's been hosting both concert and club-oriented events, performing and releasing music solo and in collaborations, and providing explorative DJ sets, showcasing the facets and diversities of his taste. An engine in the Latvian electronic music community and STURM label, he runs Construct / Destruct series among other events, and since 2010 hosts the radio show Absolūtais Minors on Radio NABA (Latvian Radio 6), dedicated to the history and current sounds of the Latvian electronic underground.
